Hi! I am glad it helped! I got mine when I was traveling, others from a local craft store, but you can easily get such boxes on Amazon, search for “Clear Acrylic Display Box”.
Oh hello Robyn!!! So happy to see you here too! Thank you so much for your kind words, as always xx. I got it from amazon. Stay safe too and I hope all is well for you
Hi! If your gumpaste flowers are refrigerated, you want to take care of the condensation part after it leaves the fridge, this method would not work as well as condensation might have already caused your gumpaste flowers to melt a little. I would suggest not putting them in the fridge at all in the first place, and just work in a rather dry environment, with as little humidity as possible (I use a dehumidifier in my studio), or you can also switch on your AC if the air is dry, then proceed to keep the flowers using this method once you switch off your AC.
Thanks so much for this video. Quick Question please If I am not using my sugar figures ever again and I am just trying to use them for a decoration, Can I put the gel directly in the box? Thanks
Hi ! What can i do if i dont have silica gel available? I am from india btw , i live in a city that has heavy rainfall and high humidity , I tried keeping flowers in an air conditioner room and the oven but none of it worked?
Hi Taiba- if you do not have silica gel, another good investment will be a dehumidifier. We have it in our studio and it is a huge life saver. If your area is too humid, sometimes the cold air from the AC may not be dry enough to keep the area dry. In such cases, a dehumidifier will be the perfect solution- because it absorbs all the moisture from the air and keep the area dry :)
I just leave them out in the open because my working studio is very dry- humidity well controlled by my dehumidifier (given I live in a very humid country- Singapore). :)

Hi! Yes, if you are not using it for consumption purposes, you can put the gel directly in the box. :)

How did you store all those flowers at 0:22 for over a year? Do you also store them in a box?

May I know where do you buy that box to place the flowers?
