    How long can you make these flowers ahead? Do these wafer paper art get affected if you put it on a cake and put it in the fridge?

      You can make wafer paper flowers months in advance! I have a video about storage: ua-cam.com/video/q066_7MYFAI/v-deo.html
      Generally, if a flower is fully dry (made a few days in advance) - it is safe to put it on the cake and in the fridge.
      I put my cakes in the fridge in a corrugated cardboard box and let them sit at room temperature for a few hours to avoid condensation. And I never have any fresh produce in my fridge, if I’m working on a cake. However, it is important to know your fridge and your room humidity because the difference causes condensation, not the fridge itself. It is better to use a hygrometer and check the humidity to protect wafer paper from melting.

      It really depends on your recipe. Wafer paper can be put on a cake and in the fridge for days and it will be fine.

I can't help but ask, but when you put the wafer paper flower on the cake, two questions...1) doesn't the flower melt upon contact with the moisture from the cake?, and 2) if you put the decorated flower cake in the fridge, will it lose its shape from the humidity of the fridge? How long can it be in the fridge?

      Hey! Welcome. I would highly recommend you to use a humidity meter to check your environment. Generally, wafer paper can hold it's shape up to 65% humidity.

    Hi I made rice paper sail but it sink in some time in cake .. The part that I insert in cake becomes soft. Plz tell what to do

      Attatch them to cake with the help of skewer( insert skewer while drying it).. coz it tends to get soften with moisture, so it should not touch the cake.

    How does the taste of wafer paper on cake. Can wafer paper eat?

      Yes, wafer paper is 100% edible. It is made out of potato starch, oil and water. It is pretty much tasteless, but you can add flavoring to suit your design.
