You can always nudge the game and shake it to extend your ball time. Warnings and tilts are part of playing pinball. You need to work the machine and walk that fine line once you understand how the tilt bob is set up. Slap saves save lives! Working the machine is not the same as abusing the machine and techs and operators know the difference. All that said, pretty decent video highlighting some good intro skills to learn. Gaby was shooting the lock well both forehand and backhand! Heading over to Part 2 now! Hopefully you keep posting some pinball stuff!
This was really excellent. I've been learning how to play a better game lately, but still have a lot of questions. You did a great job of filling in a lot of the gaps. Knowing whether to live catch or dead flip based on the whether the ball is crossing the center line is something I've never seen mentioned in other videos. Same with applying the nudge for a soon-to-be-center-drained shot at the apex of the arc. Super good stuff, thanks for making this!
You haven't understood nudging, slap saving and that a tilt is a natural occurrence. There's nothing wrong about nudging a machine harder when needed. Obviously one should mostly stay comfortably under the tilt level but there are situations where only a hard nudge or a power slap save can save the ball. In such situations one must go very close to the tilt "border" and sometimes a tilt then occurs. That's normal. Not normal is that you carelessly let balls drain like for example at 14:10. There a power slap save is imperative. When staff doesn't comprehend the difference of playing pinball in an engaged way and vandalism then it's time to educate them or if ignorant, to switch location.Pinball machines are not made from sugar.
Every game of pinball is 30% physics, 30% geometry, 30% applied mathematics, and 10% luck. And yes, if you ever want to learn ball control, TNA will be the harshest tutor you will ever have. But it will teach you everything you need to get better.
Table, table table....... If you can put a marble on it and it does not move, it's a table. Perfect to sit and eat your dinner etc. If it's a pinball machine, it's a fracking pinball machine.

Be the tilt bulb ❤😮
This format with the zooms on the left and the main play on the right work well!

I’ve been going to cidercade. Been meaning to come back here to check out the cabinets again.
Cool game, good video, and love the music!
Thank you, great content 😎
Scoop eject to drop catch is the correct method on TNA
This table looks so cool !
Gabbys Cool! Thanks for sharing. Fun Watch
This video was amazing
When you push, I'm not seeing how you're doing it? Are you lifting the machine at the front? Bumping it with your hips?

Awesome tip Chris 😉👍

Older EM machines would be 10% luck. New machines would be 1% luck. Nearly every drain on a modern machine is player error in one way or another!
You can actually see the game nice
NOW you tell me!!!!
I played so poorly :.(
