1. Population-Demand Relationship: If there is more people in the city where a convenience store is open, naturally there would be more people buying cookies and things there.
2. Preferences: If society suddenly begins to prefer pizza to hamburgers, then In N Out's demand would equally go down.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Actual change in demand, shifts the demand curve to the left or right.
