    I'm an arugulaholic. I love it on pizzas, on steak, in pasta, basically anything I eat I could happily have arugula with it. That's why I'm here. I like your video.

    This video is wonderful and your voice....the calmness reminds me of my grandmother ( not as in age)...you sound confident in my ability to a good job in this task. I can't tell you how much that means to me. She spoke to me the same way the first time she sent me into her kitchen to cook for her all by myself. I was just a child and had never cooked 'anything'. I was so nervous. But it all came out wonderful. Thank you for the instruction and, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for the confident tone of your calming voice. This is my first time attempting to grow arugula. God bless you and keep you.

    Thank you very much for sharing with us! As we grow greens not directly in grunt shall we wash them up with Veniger or soda before eating to protect from parasites?

    When it’s summer what I should do keep them cover ?, how often you put water

      You can put stakes around it and use garden cloth to cover it. In summers I water it everyday

    hi your arugula greens look amazing! I'm growing some on pots and I noticed that some of of the leaves are curing a little bit. Is this normal? Thank you :)

      Keep an eye if they curl too much, it could be a pest problem

    I love Arugula. I like to saute it with some olive oil and other spices just to have greens on my plate with my dinner. I also sprinkle some in my spaghetti sauce. Great video.

      It's a big storage box in which I have Ave drilled holes at the bottom

    Can arugula handle a lot of water, if the soil drains well? I'd like to grow this outside, but I live in a very rainy climate. It grows well on our patio, but I'd like to grow a lot more

      It can but generally leafy vegetables are susceptible to fungus and other pests with too much water. You can try it.

      @@EasyPeasyGardening Ok.I love copper for those purposes. Put a copper wire around the black bucket, and slugs and pests cannot crawl up, like a salt barrier. Copper sulphate sprayed lightly on leaves kills fungus and other pests, and it's all natural. Wish me luck, I love arugula

    Hello! Really great and inspiring video, thanks. I just planted my arugula on a small pot 2 days ago, it started to germinate already, but I like this idea of yours putting in a plastic tub, do you know when can I transfer them without destroying the roots? Thank you so much.

      Once they are about 4 inches tall, you can transplant them.

    Someone told me to never grow food in a plastic colored container due to it contaminating the soil.

    When do you harvest the arugula

      You keep harvesting the leaves when they become 3 to 5 inches long

      No, I don't. You can use anything, just make sure it has good drainage at the bottom.

    Nice video with nice leaves ,
    I grown in but after 3-4 weeks, leaves turned brown and it seems burnt in sun, although we watered nicely, do Arugula needs plenty of water and partial sun in summers of Delhi under polyhouse ?

      Yes, partial sun.

      Or may be only indirectly sunlight. Delhi summers are very hot

      Thanks for reply, our Arugula are in polyhouse, I suppose they require cooler temperatures, even though we have desert coolers, but at any point hot air hit tiny plants,

    I live in Singapore and where I stay, my plants get dome shaded afternoon sun. I only managed to grow my Arugula to about the equivalent of your 1.5 weeks. They then just withered off, leaves kinda break off . What advises do you have for me please?

    I sowed the seeds around 13 days ago and they germinated after which I kept the in balcony getting shaded light. I live in Qatar so currently the daytime temperature is close to 40degree C.
    The seeds have turned leggy and droopy.
    Any suggestions how to revive them?

      Give them more light, it's a delicate balance, maybe no direct sun, just indirect light

      You should be able to save seeds when it flowers towards the end of the season

    I grow Rocket in Straw Bales so as to make life difficult for snails and such to crawl over the rough terrain and have an easy meal.

    Dude some of the biggest arugula farms in the USA, are grown next to barns amongst the weeds it’s ridiculous, this is a plant that thrives with basically no care whatsoever
