    Teslacam Stories is a series of Tesla owners' real experiences told by the Tesla Dashcam and Sentry Mode videos. All incidents are recorded from Tesla vehicles and submitted to this channel by other Tesla enthusiasts. I contact each person who sends me their videos to talk with them and learn more about their story and to follow up on what happened after what we see on their video. Voice-over and captions are added to describe what happened and why. I believe that this additional information regarding the incident gives the videos a newsworthy value.

      Yes send the repair bill to their insurer, and file a police report for malicious damage to property, and as the damage will definitely exceed the criminal threshold the company will be both paying for the damage, and also be sitting in front of a magistrate or judge to explain, with full video as well, exactly why they should not be found guilty, and have to pay. Accident would be if he was doing the entire road, but this is deliberate aiming, and also shows intent, in that it was done separately from any other work, and was also done by trespassing into the yard as well, off the mandated road clearing only.

      This!! When exiting a multi-lane roundabout, driving instructors advise new drivers to check their blind spot and ensure that no other vehicles are present before leaving the roundabout. When you are exiting from an inside lane, you DO NOT have the right of way.

    • @markbeiser
      @markbeiser 2 місяці тому +24

      Yeah, the pickup in the outer lane had the option to continue through the roundabout to the next exit, or to exit there.
      The Tesla was not allowed to exit the roundabout from the middle lane at that point, only to continue to the next exit point where the outer lane was required to exit the roundabout because it doesn't continue around, and the middle lane had the option to exit or continue on.
      Tesla driver was behaving badly.

    10:47 It never ceases to amaze me how people are perfectly fine driving slow...until they're passed. Then it's, "Wait, you can't be faster than me! I'll show you!!". Then they proceed to do 40 mph faster than they were originally going. If you're fine being slow, be slow. Just don't get butt hurt when someone passes you.

    • @Firebacon1gg
      @Firebacon1gg 2 місяці тому +1

      Yeah I hate that too. Ifu driving the speed limit then keep doing so if someone want to pass u let them. Same thing on the freeway I hate passing lane campers its not your job to see who is driving fast or not. The only job u got is to move over from the passing lane when u have finished your passing or are holding up traffic in the passing lane. Literally saw the other day in LA someone hogging the passing lane going 65 the speed limit In that particular stretch of freeway but it was kinda empty most people were going 75 80 or 90 saw a police officer he went to the passing lane and kept a good distance from the driver. Guess what it was too see if he would move over he didn't and pulled him over. Yeah still I don't know of there is passing lane laws on California probably there is because old high way roads in california have the broken line that usually permits overtaking. Im talking the old routes like 70s.

    Back in the mid-70s my friend's Uncle took us to Cloverleaf racetrack outside of Cleveland. When the races were over, we walked out to "his" Monte Carlo. The Uncle opened the doors, we got in (but I noticed that something looked "off"), he started the car and began to backup when a woman and her husband started banging on the car and were screaming. It turns out that the Uncles car was two lanes over. What are the odds of having the same exterior and starter keys on two Monte Carlos that close to each other on the same day? Everyone had a laugh.

      Many old cars ignition keys are warn and will turn with other keys. Back in the 90s my band was playing in the city and we all parked in the lane way behind the building. After the gig we noticed an old car was blocking us in. Just by sheer chance the guitarist had the same model car and we tried his key and it unlocked the car. We disengaged the handbrake and pushed the car out of the way and after all our cars were out we pushed the car to the back of the lane and locked it. The owner is probably still wondering to this day how it got there with the doors locked and parking brake on! 😂😂🤣🤣

The friends had gotten their groceries, went out and unlocked a white Impala and started loading up the groceries, only to be interrupted by an angry person. Turns out it was the wrong white Impala. My parents Impala was 3 stalls down in the same row. What are the odds?

      @@markbeiser Three lanes in the roundabout and three lanes out of it, so it would probably depend on multiple other elements wether it's the Tesla or the pick-up that is in the wrong. You can't tell from this footage alone, cause there could be signs you don't see, and this is in UAE, so they may have their own specific rules regarding roundabouts. Many countries do. In Greece, for example, you have to yield for traffic coming into the roundabout from the right if you're already in the roundabout. In Norway a basic rule of a roundabout is that the car that first entered the roundabout has the right of way, but signs can also specify how you're supposed to navigate a roundabout.
      EDIT: And reading comments from username "ziadelhadidi14" below confirms what I said:
      "I live in the UAE and can confirm this is wrong. Each lane is specified for a direction in a roundabout. In this case a 3 lane roundabout would mean the right lane is for right and straight only. The middle lane would be straight and left only. The inside lain would be left and u-turn only. You are not allowed to turn left from the outside lane, which means the pickup would be at fault."

      Maybe. Since it’s a Lincoln Town Car, I bet it’s driven by a grumpy old man who was just upset about being passed.
      I encountered a similar clown yesterday. I moved right to yield to a faster passing car, but after passing me the woman driver decided to drive slower, which I know realize she was probably trying to block me in. Then when I began to pass her on the right, she suddenly increased her speed to try to prevent me from re-entering the left lane, which she failed at.
      After passing her, her driving behavior just devolved from there. At one point I literally thought this crazy woman was going to bump me from behind. I don’t know what instigated her behavior because she was a good distance behind me before speeding considerably to catch up. Maybe she thinks drivers of sporty cars in the fast lane feel entitled, even though I was driving the speed limit while passing slower cars. Oh, by the way, she was eating a large cookie when I passed her; I suppose she was stuffing her face to comfort her uncontrolled emotions.

    11:15 That old sedan is a Lincoln Towncar, the Lincoln version of the Ford Crown Victoria that's been used as a police cruiser for a LONG time. I'm fairly certain they come with V8 engines, and while they're not performance models, V8s in general do of course tend to have plenty of horsepower and torque.

    Apart from the fact that I can read (license plate) and have an attention span greater than 3 seconds I also fitted a few stickers to my Tesla. While the main idea was to make the car a bit more "me" and follow a certain theme it also helps greatly for me and others to distinguish it from other Teslas of similar configuration.

    I can relate to that guy in #13. A few years ago (before Tesla even existed), I had a Saturn SL2. Came out of a restaurant and there was another IDENTICAL Saturn SL2 parked next to mine. Not even thinking, I hit the keyfob, and got in the car as the door did open. Got to the point where I even had the seat belt on and tried to start the car, but did kinda notice the seat was a little tighter than I recall. The key fit, but it would not turn. I was thinking, "What the heck?". It was at that point, I realized I was in the WRONG CAR! I quickly got out, made sure I did not damage anything as well as try to leave it exactly as I found it, quickly located my own car and left!

      I stopped watching after the Licoln Town Car diss. tI don't know why people automatically assume that big sedans are slow. I have a 94 Nissan 300zx Turbo and was out on the highway with just a Cadillic Deathstar w/Northstar engine on a late night run to Vegas. No one else was on the road, so I wanted to keep as close to the only other car on the road. The Cadillac had at least 800 extra pounds on my Z, but I couldn't catch that darn big sedan to save my life and I knew about the northstars capabilities. I parked my Z and bought a tuned Buick Ultra, which isn't as fast as the Caddy, but has nice acceleration and braking for a big long 4-door sedan.
