There are a few videos out there, but still feel like they are lacking something. So this video was very necessary. The slow mo's seem helpful. I have been waiting for you to drop this. Thanks for the preview the other day. You always are so informative and always sending out great vibes. I'll be working for awhile, so hopefully next Sunday I will continue to try this one out. I remember with your direct supervision, I got it on my first try. But I still need to work on it for consistency. I like the casting you did with the pole at the end. Lol, this time no car!
Lol! Yeah, you actually did do it first try when I was standing there giving you instructions! Timing is everything! So I know this method works. I hope it'll help other riders add this skill to their collection! It changes sooo much!
My brother. The one wheel is a beautiful wave. Your editing, voice, instructing, and skills are what are truly beautiful to see 🙌🏼🙌🏼. Continue shining and doing you KING
Ayooooo! Kevin! I appreciate those positive words... truly. I'm honored to cross paths with spirits like yours within the community. Thank you for watching my content, thank you for the support. Hoping this year is kind to you! 🙇🏾♂️
These are great finer points on how to execute this move, man! I still need to get my technique to be consistent and this video will definitely help out. It was great meeting and riding you last weekend!
@@TekXkai It's a great help to me. You speak in a way that is understandable and on top of that you cut to the chase no filler. I appreciate that greatly.
Don't think you mentioned it, but this move requires a LOT of repetition. At least it did for me. It took me about 50 tries to do my first nudge, so doing it up a burb onto grass was important, and learning how to bail consistently. I stayed at 1 out of 50 tries for a few days, then I got better, now I can do them successfully 99% of the time. So put on some tunes and keep sessioning... For me, now I just jump them with the flight fins, which is a whole other interesting word. OWW you ever tried fins?
Dude, my apologies for the delayed response. I have tried fins before. They're ok! Fun to use when I come across a board that has them attached. I personally wouldn't get them myself. I enjoy the challenge of making my way up without being attached to the board!
@@TekXkai when do you suggest someone should swap out the Vega? I have a bit over 100 miles on mine and it feels pretty good/normal but it’s the only tire I have ever used. Did you wear your first Vega out before trying a new tire? I’m 80% street and like to carve. Guess I’m nervous too with how OW is all changing the tire voids my warranty..seems kind of lame. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I get the sense you’re not influenced to say anything but the truth and with your distance I know you’ve probably tried lots of rubber! 🤙❤️🙏
TEAACCHHH! Because Idk SHIT bro! I hate the fact that I have to stop and dismount over something it's annoying bro frfr. I think once I get all my gear and that #FLY ass helmet you got there sir, I'll be more daring to try, you feel me 💯 oh yeah 1:14 damn I would have landed straight on my tailbone 🤦🏾♂️
Dude! Just give it time and be patient. Make sure that when you press down "hard" for the climb, you press HARD! Hard and Snappy, like clapping. It makes all the difference.
Dude your an expert on that thing, just wondering why you wear that cumbersome moto helmet when you could use something a little lighter with better visibility. I feel like I need all the peripheral vision to avoid getting ran over by a car or something. Just wondering how you do it.
Yo yooo. To be honest, a big reason why I chose this helmet over other options is because it looks and feels cool to wear. As a skateboarder, I never wore a helmet because they don't look cool to me. I found helmets that I LOOK FORWARD to wearing so that I ALWAYS wear them if I'm traveling anywhere. I'm accustomed to the weight and I just turn my head to look. In the end, it's really about preference lol also, wearing a typical helmet doesn't protect the face. So wind, rain, bugs, sunlight... they all get blocked by the visor. It has it's benefits 🙌🏾
Right on, I’m an old skater too. And I could never wear the gear either, I have lots of battle wounds. I do wear my helmet when I ride my bike though. Thanks for the reply, keep the videos coming . Peace
that’s what i was thinking but it almost looked like it occurred fast enough for the simple stop not to engage, but good to know! i’m so glad you put this video up and i’m excited to to use it!
Hmmmm it's simple yet hard to explain. Pushback is what makes it difficult to push the nose into the ground at lower speeds. Watch episode 2 for more details.
@@TekXkai makes sense! Well cool for you brother to get out and shred it up! Just got my onewheel yesterday and got 38 miles on it! Beginning of a beautiful journey! Much love

Do you wear boots for ankle support or just because?
Style + comfort. Not so much for protection.
Coming from Evolve and waiting for my One Wheel XR to arrive end of March, I always wondered why no one wears a Ruroc helmet on a One Wheels.
Who knows? I have no idea lol
Wing what tire do you ride and what psi? Love your smooth style!
I ride the Burris SS-11 tire consistently! Currently I ride with the psi around 27.

if i had simplestop on, which im using rarely but sometimes forget to turn it off when i teach a friend, would this still work?
