Does it glow brighter than the 'FlashTorch', which is claimed to be the brightest domestically available torch? It emits such a concentrated beam of white light that it can melt things too. However, the FlashTorch has breathing vents and a cooling fan to keep the unit cool.
I don't know what a flash torch is. I only know how much heat this I've throws and it is a fair bit. Enough to burn a hole in a bank note in 2 seconds. I had a bit of explaining to do when i spent it lol.
After 7 min it goes to power level that is between the medium and high setting. At this point the body of the flashlight you can still hold it but it is getting uncomfortable. Once the power level goes down it starts to cool. of course you could turn it back on to full again and get another 7 minutes I guess but that would be just stupid because as you said overheating the battery is not going to help it last longer.
I have few Thrunites….one TC15 V2, two T1S’s, one T1 and one W1. These “turbo” modes are getting a bit out of hand…the “high” modes are more than sufficient for use. The “turbo” modes I feel are there just for chest thumping and bragging. Thanks for the review, Dave.
Turbo modes are for self defense. Many say it's more effective than mace. Reason why this one has a dedicated turbo button. You don't want to be fumbling around going into the wrong modes when you're in a scuffle. A great flash light for LEO's.
@@rayland9305 if you seriously believe but shining up bright light into someone's face it's going to disable them I have a bridge to sell you. Sure they're bright but the natural reaction is to look away just like you wouldn't look at the sun the attacker is just not going to focus on the light. They are great though for seeing extreme distance if you're looking for something or someone out in the dark

Well that's it you don't really need a flashlight that says powerful unless you're looking for something in extreme distance then you need that kind of power. It's for intermittent use. And why do they have it you might ask well because it's a numbers game everybody wants bigger numbers bigger numbers mean a better product right? Let us know if you have a dot of sunburn on your palm tomorrow.... 🤣
Let's try it on a Ballon
That would be a nice pop
So if you need to start a fire you could use
this flashlight. I might get one.
Use it as a backup soldering iron.

Can we see a test of the heat protection in 7 minutes, because li ion battery are very susceptible to heat. Thanks

Exactly. Over the top. Bragging rights basically but they do make one hell of a good flashlight. I use they all the time every day at work.

Seems like overkill to me, too powerful. Why would anyone need a flashlight that is capable of starting a forest fire?
