- The host conducts a comprehensive survey of what language really is, considering how it forms a basis for all human interaction. He shows the relation of linguistic science to teaching a foreign language, teaching reading and the analysis of the psychiatric interview. Dr. Smith points out that there is no such thing as a primitive language, and all languages are equally complex and have the same amount of history behind them.

Why is there no such tutorials now for free?
There are, for example, crash course linguistics!
The 'problems of America' (varied, multifarious, longstanding, polychrome) are reducible by mind to but one: America doesn't have a meaningful answer to the query, 'What is the universal answer to the problem of the meaning of human existence?', while at the same time believing they have the best answers to the problems of human existence, while failing to acknowledge that everyone else feels equally certain in just that regard.
This guy reminds me of Jack Lemon trying to market cars.
How do we know other species can’t speak their own language?
Because I have a pet turtle and I asked if his species had a language to communicate? He laughed at me and said "If you think I'm slow you must be slow to ask such a ridiculous question."
@Roberto Biagio Randazzo No. God made man with the ability to speak and think. Evolution is a theory, and a very flawed one at that. It is not worth hanging on to; the consequences are an eternity in hell. I hope you are not stubborn and end up going to hell.

Many species have been shown to have their own systems of language since, but I guess this was not traditionally accepted knowledge in the western world at the time.

God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all! 🕊💗
We know dolphins have language and talk. So this guy was incorrect on that fact.
Indeed. Birds(especially parrots), dolphins, whales, seals, monkeys, elephants are just some of the animals that have been proven to use language since the release of this. What a wonderful thing to be wrong about.
