My second favorite TVD character as promised - Elena. This is actually my second tribute for her, I made one after she left the show. I hope you enjoy this one as well! :)
I will never understand why Elena gets so much hate, and I will be deleting any rude comments regarding her character. She'd lost so much, and still managed to put a smile on her face every day. I'm so happy that at the end, she got everything she wanted and reunited with her family in the afterlife.

Everybody hates Elena so much and i really don't get why, i personally love her and this is a perfect tribute. Love it.
Cuz sometimes she’s just annoying and ruins things by always getting into things that have nothing to do with her

Elena Gilbert has been through so much and she is so strong and amazing. Nina Dobrev is so talented. Even though Elena was supposed to be a blonde, nobody else could've played Elena Gilbert the way she did. This is beautiful❤

I love Elena. She made some mistakes, but don’t we all. I miss her so much. She just wanted to be happy and her family & friends to be safe and at peace. She lost so much. Put yourself in her shoes. She’s amazing. I hope she comes back one day.
I stopped watching the show after she left, because she was the life of the show. No one can be ever as compassionate, kind and selfless as her, the best character ever!
Elena is the most real character in tvd in my opinion. The way she deals with pain and tries to be strong is just so human like.
I have to admit that I always had a love-hate relationship with Elena.. I was never an Elena stan... But throughout this past year (even tho she wasn't even on the show) I have started to respect her more.. Sometimes I feel like l hate her bc she is the most relatable out of Barolena... Most people hate her bc she cries all the time.. She cries bc out of all the other she express her feelings to the ones she loves bc she knows that they will get it.. That's the difference between Elena and the other tvd characters.. The other choose not to express how much painful do they really feel and keep it all the themselves.. ANYWAYS I miss her smile more than anything.. truly Nina has the most beautiful I have ever seen.. Everytime I watch her smile It makes my day.. I LOVED YOUR EDIT SM CANT WAIT FOR YOUR NEW TRIBUTE❤
Aw thank you! And that's a great point you made! Elena is very in touch with her emotions, more so than the other characters. Honestly, I personally never felt like she cried too much. If a normal human being had lost their adoptive parents, biological parents, their aunt, their guardian (Alaric e.g.), their brother, their boyfriend, their best friend (even If It was just for a couple of months in the actual show) - I'm pretty sure they would have cried too. So I honestly think that Elena's strength is very much underappreciated

Let me go into a corner and cry my eyes out. These tributes are so beautiful and all I can say is a good job for bringing all that makes their character unique into one video. I hate it how people are hating on Elena sooo much in the middle of the seasons! They keep saying that Elena was so much better in the first few seasons but turned into a self centered bitch later on! I HATE IT! Elena has always been herself she has never changed! She's still that strong girl who lost her parents and had learned ways to redeem herself! She just had gotten stronger that's the only thing that has changed, It's so irritating to see people hating on Elena 😂, this video is everything! I STAN ELENA GILBERT! ❤️

Thank you! :) I've had plans to do something like that with Stefan for over a year, but I don't really remember as many of his scenes so I will have to rewatch the first seasons of TVD to really do him the justice. That's why it's taking longer, but it's coming someday :p

This is beautiful Elena is my favorite character and i will never understand how people can complain about a teenage girl who literally lost every relative she had every season.No matter if her brother came back.Every season she lost a family member or someone was out to kill her or her friends.And people literally hate her for showing emotion.
Pretty sure most of the hate comes from her choice of love interest, but the show was based in a love triangle, so both ships were gonna happen lol I'm 100000% delena but I loved Elena even when she was with Stefan and I strongly dislike them, I.loved Elena from the first episode until the end, she's so brave and strong, she didn't change, she just stood up to ppl and stopped letting ppl walk all over her, ppl didn't lime it so they said she changed which us utter bs.
She always deserved better, but the fandom is not ready for this convertation

Your description of Elena is as perfect as Damon's was. Her sadness, her grief, all her loss but then again her strength, her will to fight and smile. Elena is quite the example for all of us and Nina did hell of a good job to bring her to life.

Thank you for making this. I honestly don't understand why people hate on her or say she's whiny or weak. She is strong in the face of so much loss and heartbreak. She is brave in the face of danger and fear. She is good and kind in the face of so much darkness. She truly amazes me and everyone around her. That is why everyone loves her so much on the show because she is extraordinary, loving, compassionate. She is a hero.

This is perfect I have no words. Thank you so much for making this one and the one for Damon. By the end of the show, the way it was written, especially the last 2 seasons, I didn't care much for anyone else except these two tbh.
I'm still so mad they continued the show without Elena (good thing is they failed lol) and watching this video it shows perfectly Elena was the soul of TVD. Without her nothing made sense. Her kindness, selflessness, her capacity for love and forgiveness is one of the most beautiful things on TVD. And you showed it all in these minutes so thank you. Yes! Finally somone who dosen't hate her! Elena is one of the strongest Characters in the whole Show. She is selfless and carefull and of course, she had her downs, but everyone has it and she wouldn't be the person, that she is, when she hadn't had her dark side. She can be evil, yes, but she is still an angel who deserves all the good. Thank you for this beutiful Tribute!

just finished season 6. honestly she is the best character with stefan. nina and Paul were perfect for capturing and being the best protagonists. season 6 elena is the best I think. She truly is in her path, confident and in good relationship with herself and damon and jeremy. also with a career path. she was there for everyone and the goodbyes are just so sad. she truly was the heart, the best connection of each and everyone. i remember that I watched the show for caroline and klaroline and damon. all great things obviously but I ended up loving elena. and i see the fandom really not liking her and all kinds of things. i get it i probably thought she was annoying at times too. I just think it’s when you grow up and you watch it you really change your opinions and see clearly. like how Stefan is the protagonist and the better best brother. it’s just a fact. people preferred damon more and that’s okay i loved him too and delena probably more than stelena. and now rewatched and she really is the best main character out there. and I think that’s all because of nina. she really is magic. you can see and it makes sense that elena is the main character and how it’s about her and all the characters being intertwined with her. she is so positive and fun and friendly and has such an open heart and open hand and will help any one. she is the mature mom friend who everyone loves and listens to for advice and will always have a hug and a kind word to say. i think the triangle took a lot to define her by the fans. but I personally never cared to define her by her relationships. yea going for damon is a very degrading move, damon was already degraded lol. but I think it’s a supernatural show and these three are like heart head blood of the story. and being so intertwined in this way it’s only fitting. and season 6 really brought the best out of everyone. so I didn‘t mind it. she was the it girl. in every sense. again nina deserved more to feel the love of this character, because she really put it all and she is this character because of her. icon
