They are all torrents. I got seasons 1-4 a long time ago, wouldn't be able to find the website now. But I got s5-8 mostly from "piratebay" or "kickass.torrents", there are probably earlier seasons in there too

It is not harmful to your computer, if you download from (for example) eztv or rartv. It's obviously illegal to download tv shows for free, so you'd have to hide you IP adress, I found how to do it on youtube. It's just the way I do it, If you're afraid buy TVD on DVD or on itunes :)
