Low life expectancy doesn't mean everyone dies young in the country. My mom is 73 and my dad is 75. They re in great health.

Ivory Coast is very similar to Ghana. 40% of the Ivorian is Akan. We say Akwaba as Ghana to welcome visitors. We have a large immigrant population so Ivorian cuisine is very rich ( dish from Ghana,Senegal, Liberia and Guinea,Conakry and Mali are all included). Ivorians are proud farmers and love to have a good time. Thank you
1/3 is Akan, 1/3 is malinkés and the rest is others etnics groups.

As an african guy who seems to know quite well West Africa region, in all honesty la Côte-d'Ivoire 🇨🇮 or the Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 is in 2023 the leading country of that part of Africa. Especially, in the 13 last years (2010 - 2023). The Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 is leading West Africa in every single aspect of things. Their incumbent President His Excellency ADO (Alassane Dramane Ouattara) is demostrating that a country can be developed in less than 25 ans of good governance, discipline, determination, etc. I can't wait to visit the Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 again. Ivory Coast with a city like Abidjan aka The Paris of Africa is a very beautiful country that gets overshadowed by Nigeria and Ghana in popularity.
Abidjan is a very beautiful city with the best skyline in west Africa and arguably the most developed city in the region.
Ivory Coast as a country does not get adequate recognition especially in the anglosphere, but in French Africa it's a powerhouse 💪🏽💪🏽

Ivory Coast and Ghana were the same people before they were divided. The French settled in Ivory Coast, whiles the British settled in Ghana. That's why they look similar and share similar culture. God bless Africa.
Nice video, I am originally from Ivory Coast, and French is the main and language spoke and I think it is about 60 dialects, and French slang called Nouchi. There is only national football team for the country and it includes different football team of different regions. Come visit, you will not regret. Ivoirians are very humble, nice, pleasant people, and, full of life, very religious and unique.
The Akans are the majority ethnic group in the Ivory Coast migrated from Ghana.

No there are clubs all over the country that provides the best talent for the national team. So there are local leagues that clubs compete .

the life expectancy is usually low in countries that have experienced war for a long time such as Ivory coast. This is due to the loss of life of relatively younger people, reducing the mean age.

The name of the national football/soccer team of Ivory Coast 🇨🇮 is the ELEPHANTS. But at the club level, they have clubs like: ASEC MIMOSA F.C A.K.A ASEC D'ABIDJAN, AFRICA SPORTS, SABÉ SPORTS, ABENGOUROU F.C, STADE D'ABIDJAN, ...🙏🙏

In every sport, be it world football(American soccer), rugby, basketball, hockey, you name it, every country with such sport culture usually has many local teams competing for the local trophies just as the NBA teams compete every year. They are teams local to US.
A national team represents the country as a whole in global events. And to assemble a national team, the sports authority picks every good player across all the local and foreign teams to make up the national team and represent the country.
US Basketball team to the Olympics is always a selection of the great basketball players that have US citizenship no matter the basketball club they play for, local or foreign.
US Men's Team also is made up of Christian Pulisic (Chelsea FC, England), Weston McKennie (Juventus FC, Italy), Timothy Weah (PSG FC, France) and many other players from many teams across the world.
So Ivorian national team is also a selection of players from Ivory Coast that play in various clubs home and abroad to represent Ivory Coast in any global/country-level football competitions.
The basilica is the biggest religious building, however, the church is not packed every sunday...it serves more as a tourists destination these days. Also, the life expectancy is not one that you can believe 100% because many many folks don't register, especially in remote villages. My grandparents were well in their 90s when they passed.
For soccer, there is a national league and the best players are picked for the national team.

Not sure where she got the number for life expectancy, according to the Wolrd bank data, life expectancy is 59 years old. as far as the football teams, they have their local clubs, but many African athletes go to play in European clubs as professionals, as that's where they foind better opportunities.
Low life expectancy don't mean that every ppl dies before the age of 53 its a statistics and statistics in africa is not accurate bc there are many towns and villages not included in the count i can tell you that there are lot of old ppl there
With 70% of African population below 35 years it means the old people are fewer.

You see, life expectancy gets low because of some outside events. Like wars and diseases, such as AIDS. In Ivory Coast the civil wars affected life expectancy. Many people died including young lots of peoples, the law averages brought down Life Expectancy. Before the civil wars the country was very prosperous and stable. In short, if you kill lots of 19 year Olds in war, the average age death comes down toward 19 years. Yeah, do you follow?

At any given time, nations have a national team. The personel in the teams may change from time to time. In American Football, the players selected for the PRO Bowl might be a national time. Sadly NFL football is only played by 1 country. Sorry Canada. Hence it's not a national team. Soccer in America has a national team. They even made it to the last World Cup Football (FIFA).
