I have some softball tips for Payton that helped me
- when batting make your arms 90 degree angles. ( in L shapes )
- when running , stab your knees up and push under yourself to go faster
- don’t stab your heels into the ground when running
- follow through with your swing, don’t drop your arms .
- hips should point first at the pitcher when you swing.

So I have a bone spur on my left knee and that can sometimes be worse than a broken bone, I use caster oil to help it bend and it works, heat definitely helps like A LOT so you can use a heating pad or get a warm washcloth (warm water on the washcloth) and keep it there overnight, I hope helps! BTW I'm really sorry!
