@@wangsamps I’m always compelled to comment 🤣. I actually don’t have one, though I think I’ve watched every video. I do hope to be able to be able to purchase the Soldano homage one day!
We all make the jokes. It's impossible not to. I tell my wife she is lucky because I have 4 Wangs, each of varying size. One in my pants and 3 in my music room. 😂😂😂
In the late 70s, I briefly worked at a metal fabrication shop that made keyboard panels for the now defunct Wang computer company. My job was to scrape the excess paint off the panel edges with a stick after they came out of the oven. So, I guess my job was to scrape the crud off Wangs.
I have all the Biyang BabyBoom pedals. They are top quality all the way. Sad they dont get the recognition they deserve. I hear a lot of great things about the Wangs amps. Nothing negative so far. I guess peiple just have this stigma about China made products being cheap. Heck. Even people think Chinese trees are somehow cheaper. I find that funny. While there is a basis for this prejudice, there are many high quality companies in China that are making high quality equipment, guitars etc. Biyang is one of those.
Their amps are really amazing. However I did buy the 1987HW and wish I bought the 2204. What I would really like is a schematic for the 1987HW so I could convert it
@@wangsamps I'd you ever saw that rough video I have in my channel of me with an electric guitar, singing and playing; I think I had the OD-30 with a vintage Marshall Guv'nor supplying the dirty tone. Imagine how it will sound with proper microphones and bass and drums.
A prominent YT ham radio and amp tech/designer gave the Wang amps a good review, but only suggested they use better quality tube sockets, which may become faulty due to the loose/cheap tin pins. He recommended some Belden sockets. I suppose it's something the user can do if they know how to solder and don't forget how to wire them back up.
Like so many of us working stiffs we wait all day to get home and crank on our Wangs.
😂

It helps the algorithm 😆
@@wangsamps that’s why I do it!
I believe in your product without any personal hands on a Wang…any Wangs :)

Seem like great amps. Might see about the SLO type in future.

@@marvelharris9540
No, but Wangs do make a 100w Hiwatt Dual Channel
