We grew up on Campbells pork and beans. Occasionally B&M baked beans would show up. My dad would actually make Boston Baked beans in a pit in the back yard. We did not care much for molasses which he swore by. Then Bush's baked beans showed up after I became an adult. Oh happy day. Tasted like candy, yum. I still switch them up with hot dogs. Heaven sent.

I have never had bean pecan pie, but have had Chinese moon cakes which have a sweetened kidney bean filling. I couldn’t taste the beans. I like Bush’s Chili Hot Beans. I hunt for the Refried ones. I like that Bush’s makes a couple varieties in single serving cans, too.
