Michigan
Be careful son , that whirlpool could be the beginning of a massive sink hole! These can take trees and the like right down with it, usually because of a cave system or even an old salt mine. Great finds, as usual. 😉🤓☺️ ( there is a video of this here on the old UA-cam ).
Thanks for the tip
I said the same thing, but in panicked, squealy (in the range of dogs) comment that was not reasoned & informative like yours. That whirlpool scared the you-know-what out of me! 😱🌪
That was a crazy sight to see!
The whirlpool looked evil to me. Really scary!
it's cool to think about how these items were being used in day to day life but overtime make their way in the strangest of places. maybe not these items but in general
Yeah for sure. If only they could talk
Two possibilities for the SC buttons. First, horse gets spooked, rider falls, foot is stuck in the stirrup that later breaks, you found the broken piece, the buttons break off at different times. Second option person is a captive, breaking buttons to lead rescuers after them.
Good thinking! I have some more awesome finds I can’t wait to share soon
Sounds like a movie scene.
NEW VIDEO!
Your Bottle is made by Dominion Glass Company. It is a medicine/poison bottle (likely with a cork). If you place that bottle on a sunny window sill for a few weeks/months it will change color. Amethyst, blue/green, cornsilk yellow, or rose color depending on the minerals used. Once you see the color you can narrow down the age of it pretty easily. The Diamond shape embossment on the bottom of the bottle with the d in the center is trademark. It changed over the years so you could compare and that will give you the age as well. The bottles are a pretty and interesting collectables. Not hard to sell. Good luck😉
If you fell in the whirlpool, you would be Nugget Noggin Bobbin 😂
Haha!

LAFAYETTE GA . LOVE THE UPLOAD !!
Thank you!
Awesome finds. From Scotland
Glad you enjoyed! Moore on the way
i enjoyed the video and cool finds. You seem to find a lot of brass and copper on a lot of your hunts, my suggestion is you should save the copper and brass in buckets and by the years end you will probably have a good amount and you can bring that into a scrap metal yard and they will give you money for it
Great idea! I currently try to save all copper and brass, aluminum if possible to recycle . Thanks for watching
The rolled copper thing almost looks like a ferrule that would cover an old eavestrough nail?
As much fun as it looks like to find these relics -- I definitely think that today I am satisfied to sit and watch you dig in the mud!!! 😂😂😂
Glad you enjoyed it! I like digging in the mud

Hey Nugget, that brass heart shoe plate...they find those in England, Victorian times. According to other metal detectorists, that heart was a calling card in the dirt...if you know what I mean.
Interesting find then. I have found them at 1860s sites too, so could be little older
@@nuggetnoggin Most definitely!
Oregon
That bottle had a diamond shape on the bottom. I think it might be a McElhenny Hot sauce bottle.
Tifton, GA.
The casing with the U on it is a UMC casing. United metallic company. No idea the age.
That’s awesome!

Mannn... That is one hot spot!!! I hope you hit a belt buckle 🤞 all that stuff should be put in a shadow box... Including some of the trash pieces like the hinge! That could be an unknown battlesite, or who knows what? And what you might find.??. Whatever it is, it's a piece of history... Good luck!
Thank you! I will definitely put this stuff in a nice shadow box and display it properly. The best part for me is doing research and then discovering a site with the detector. So much fun
