People say LL COOL J doesn't get recognition. Even if that is true, best believe it isn't, he doesn't need it. He sold 13,000,000 copies, he's worth a hundred million dollars at least, he has a beautiful life, beautiful wife, beautiful kids. And people say he didn't get recognition, but I guarantee any kid from the 70s or 80s know and respect the hell out of him. To say he doesn't get enough recognition is almost downplaying the impact he's made. He's made just as much impact as Eminem Or Dr. Dre.
I appreciate how when one of ems heros is talking to him or someone is interviewing him about his hero's, he turns whatever the conversation around to compliment them.

I like that Em will step up and give credit when so many say that he's the responsible for everything in rap history. The media said the first legit white MC etc. and I thought who's gonna remind everyone about 3rd Bass? . . .and then, Em did.
This a beautiful thing. You can tell Em is a real one and his love and respect for the GOAT is real. You can hear it in his speech and his songs.
Perfect example of why Eminem is who he is today... giving mad well deserved honor & respect to the original MASTERS like LL Cool J- who without Eminem wouldve had nothing to grow into. So cool to see humility & respect pave the road to true success!
