I lived on Peleliu for a few years in the late 1990's I love the Western Pacific! I've been all over Micronesia. I never made it to Vanuatu, the Solomon islands or Papua New Guinea. Too bad the internet is getting there. When I lived on Peleliu we collected drinking water off the roof, had no paved roads and electricity between 6pm and midnight if the generator was working. Nearest phones were in Koror 2 and half hours by boat. I loved it.
Slight nitpick but the plant shown at 4:55 is a species of New Zealand Kawakawa which is in the same family as Kava but is a very different plant. I'm a Kiwi myself and just harvested some fruit from one today. It's quite neat and when ripe is a mix of rock melon (cantaloupe) and mango but with spicy peppery seeds
