:) I'm not sure I understand the zipper on the Gabin. I mean, why not have it all the way? You can still put your entire lower arm into the corners, a joy for pick pockets! The Wide Leg jeans and the floral sweater look amazing on you!
It is a strange choice for sure. I guess because the bottom of the bag has that fixed piece of leather, having some closure on top makes sense to not have the tote gap too much. But why only middle section? I’ve also noticed the larger totes are often photographed with the corners flipped inward, maybe they left the openings so you could do that on this model as well? No idea 🙈

Those jeans are from comptoire des cotonniers (another French brand). I got them last year (last winter)

I actually got an M in the Gustave to get that relaxed look! Earlier in the season I tried the Samuel (also sleeveless) in my usual size XS and it was too formal fitting for a layering piece (I returns it). I think the M is a good size to be able to put a shirt under and not feel like a sausage haha ✨

I didn’t see any boots last week but I plan to go again later this week. I’ll post on my Insta stories if they have the boots (and what else they might have). As for the comfort I’m not sure, that’s a new design. It looks comfortable. I have one pair of low heel ankle boots from Sézane and they are comfy. I’m hoping to add a knee high Sézane boot to my collection this Fall
