Oh a shorter Clyde would be cute! Everlane actually has something like a cropped Clyde, it's called the Mac coat. Here is a link bit.ly/49Y5lR4 - I saw it at the store and through that it's a great idea!! Very easy for everyday and for a more petit frame. The Hugo Parka is one of the pieces I have never tried! I've been checking the stores because I do want to try it for the channel but they never seem to have it available when I'm there! The Tiphaine Cardigan is cute but I do wish it was longer. If you size up chances are only the sleeves would be longer (at least that's how it was on me). I found a great alternative from Alex Mill, here is a link bit.ly/49TtzvC W Concept is a dangerous place because they have a ton of great really classy pieces. I love Korean fashion, it's leaning a lot into chic yet modern clothes. I got the Mohan coat in XS and you can see it's oversized on me! It's cut A line, a bit like a cape so plenty of room for tick clothes underneath. They have the same coat in a light camel color but the chocolate brown is more unique! I wonder if Sezane is releasing anything tomorrow? I haven't seen any teasers. Maybe we'll get a day off?

@@zorymory I have mentioned to Sezane that I'd love to see a shorter Clyde, so I'm hoping the design studio will consider it. If it had a detachable hood too, it would be nice. I'll check out Everlane's Mac coat. Thanks for the link. What a shame the stores haven't had the Hugo parka for you to try. Maybe for the spring since it's more of a spring coat? I really like the design and the fabric feels really nice. I think you'd like it. I had never heard of W Concept until I saw your IG post with the coat. Are they easy to shop with, especially if you have to return something? I'm tempted to try that Mohan coat. If you took the XS, maybe I'll need the S. I saw they posted garment measurements, so I'll have to compare to a coat I own. Sezane mentioned in a comment on one of their recent IG posts (the one with the photo of their Mariniere shirts) that they will have some new pieces tomorrow and more info should be coming soon about the Archives sale. Eager to see what the new pieces are.

Yes it has some itch but it’s not as bad as I was preparing for. When I was reading the online reviews people were saying that because of the minimal processing that’s done to the wool the sweaters are scratchy. When I got my order I was surprised that the wool is not as scratchy as some of my vintage 100% wool knits. Also could be because the sweater I got was dyed vs some color are not dyed at all. Ive read people saying the sweaters from Babaa soften with wear

@@HH-yc7he Yes, I'm working on a dedicated Babaa video. I first ordered from them in July but I was so overwhelmed and couldn't pick a color/design to keep so I sent everything back. I did film those sweaters but never used the clips so I'm planning to feature my Black Friday order try-on + the July pieces.

I'm excited to wear it. It's comfy. I really like the pockets + the slight ruffle hem. The dark navy is not my usual go to (I would more often go with something that has red or light blue in the pattern) but it seemed like a versatile everyday choice.

Yes indeed it has no itch and the texture is beautiful! I also like the little pockets, a great addition to the design! I'm really into oversized knits lately, I really wanted something that's longer but at the same time I also have a similar design so I'll save the closet space for something else :)

I'm glad it's helpful! I also was somewhat surprised by the color. Based on the pictures I expected the color to be more saturated. I also think the name is somewhat misleading because when I hear "khaki" this is not the color I imagine

Currently Sezane is really at a peak in popularity and probably that is why you get the most people there (plus the slightly lower prices in comparison to Ba&sh, Sessun, Gerard Darel,Maje). When in Paris it's always nice to go around and try every brand you are curious about, it takes the pressure off of choosing carefully, delivering to the US and paying for returns (which I think limits the exposure the other brands get to the US market). I also always go to Cyrillus, Comptoir des Cotonniers, Balzac Paris & Soeur.

Out of curiosity, did you visit the Octobre editions store? If so, what were your impressions of the quality there? When you say Sezane didn’t compare to other popular brands in terms of quality, could you give us the name of another brand that you think compares to Sezane ( Jcrew, Everlane ??? Etc.) Thank you in advance for your anticipated response.

@ I went to Sezane from “Le bon Marche” store, didn’t see October there. I don’t know the brands you mentioned because I live in Italy and we don’t have them here. To me Sezane is a fast fashion brand promoted by too many people on Facebook, Insta, UA-cam who create the need to buy, try them on, return. They release new items almost (if not )every week, just like Zara. I am in a group on Facebook and I am amazed by how many ladies buy different pieces of clothing that are returned after a few days, probably worn for a date, a night out, photo shooting etc. Few items have a good quality, too many of them are made of polyester, the sweaters that have a blend of fabrics harmful for skin (they are very itchy), and personally I don’t like the prints, I didn’t see them on elegant Parisian ladies. There are many other brands with great quality that comes at higher prices but we do not need to own a new piece of clothing every month.

I placed my first order back in July but sent everything back because I was so unsure of the color and also kept thinking about the other designs I did not order. In my video I'll show what I got this time and also what I tried back in July.

Yeah, I’d say if you roll it in a ball and keep it like that it will wrinkle. Otherwise if you fold it nicely for travel the lines relax when you start wearing it. The fabric is stiff enough to not crease from just leaning on to something but under the right circumstances it could wrinkle.

I believe the process in most EU countries is the same. You have to always apply for tax back in the last EU country you visit before going home. Depending on your itinerary double check the local rules just to be sure everything is in order. I've never had to send copies of the form anywhere but if you get called to see the agent he might instruct you to mail the forms. Make sure you have at least a photo of your forms and then drop them off wherever the agent tells you (there is usually a mail box right by the boots and most forms are given to you at the place of purchase in envelops)

I got the US 2 (euro 34) - that’s my usual size for Sézane dresses that are not form fitting. If a dress is form fitting (like a knit dress that hugs the body) I’ll size up just so it’s not too tight but the Celenia has a nice shape with A like skirt so I stuck to my usual size

Hi! Thank you for the lovely detailed comment! The 7or9 brand was totally new to me too (the world of fashion is so big isn't it)! I agree that Sezane shoes can use some padding. Even the Vicky loafers, which I love, lack cushion inside. The 7or9 pair is sooo soo cushy and I love that about their shoes! Okay, let's talk sizing. Since we both have the Vicky loafers that is the common denominator. My Vicky loafers are size 38 and my 7or9 shoes are size 39 (perfect fit). I'm thinking if your Vicky loafers are size 39 then you should get 40 from 7or9, it sounds logical. Also why can't shoe sizing be more uniform haha I'm always so nervous trying to figure these things out! The Martin crop fit is true to size IMO. All my Sezane pants without stretch are size US 4. If you own pants from Sezane in size 4, get the size 4 for Martin crop too. I did have to hem them because they were too long on me.New colors will be fun!! The Bilma shirt is wider than the Max I think and I can see how the cut might not be for everyone. Luckily we have lot's of other good shirt options from Sezane! I'm also very happy that the blue Ambre shirt is coming back! It's so so pretty! And lastly - Nico coat!!! It's so sooooo pretty!!! It is indeed such a gem! Never seen it IRL but it looked so chic on the website photos!

@@zorymory Thanks, Zory! I was thinking the same thing about the 7or9 shoe sizing. I'll get the 40. I agree that shoe sizing being so inconsistent is so frustrating. Different brands have different foot length measurements for the same size. I own pants from Sezane in size 4 and size 6 depending on the pants. Heck, I had to size down to a 2 in the Manu jeans. Maybe when there is a pair of Martin Crop pants I want, I'll just order the 4 and the 6 and return the one that doesn't fit. Trial and error seems to be the only way to find the right size sometimes. Yes, lots of nice shirts to choose from. I recently got the Erine shirt, the Ulysse shirt, the Maggie shirt, and the Coline shirt in "multicolored flowers on khahi". I love them all. I got them all is size 4 and the fit is perfect. Counting down the minutes tonight until showtime! 🤩

That’s a good question. I’ve never checked for that. I suggest ask at the store when you are getting your paper work. They will know the most up to date guidelines. If they say you can’t use the debit you can always choose a cash refund at the airport.

They were indeed very long on me. They were too long to cuff on me and I got them hemmed (which I’m very happy with because I like the tidy look bore, I always find the cuff designs to me a bit more casual/street style)

Do you have any other Sézane shoes that work for you? Which ones? Maybe I have them too and I can compare the width with the Vicky. It will be easier to give you the right answer if I have some baseline. Overall I don’t find the Vicky too narrow but don’t want to mislead you

@shannonevans2875 I just bought the vicky loafers and have wide feet (usually a 8.5 wide) ordered the 8 and they are perfect!

@ I’ve admired the brand for a few years, but only recently started buying from them. I haven’t tried any of the shoes yet. I prefer to try my shoes on in person, but returns are so easy…I should just try them. Never know until you try something.

No, real winter requires wool. The Clyde is for Spring and Fall (or Coastal California winter but not places that have freezing temperatures and snow)

That’s around the time I was there and trying to visit the store. It was quite a shock that the line was 2h long because I was in Paris for work in the spring and I was able to walk into their Marais pop up without waiting (maybe people didn’t know about it or it was plain luck). That visit wasn’t a success tho because the bag I wanted was not in stock.

I know! I put the straps inside so it’s more comfortable to hold it while filming and saw only later that because the strap was inside the bag it was causing this issue! So silly of me! The bag is perfect, symmetrical with no issues 🙈

They open early. 8:45 am sounds like a normal departure time that allows to go through kiosks. In the video scroll to where I go to the kiosk and I’m pretty sure I filmed the hours of operation (but also double check that to make sure nothing got updated, assuming you fly out of CDG)
