    Hi Carol, do you have any tips or advice on how PDNs in your workplace support your internationally educated nurses? How is their role different in anyway to the normal PDN for our domestic nurses? Would you be able to share some information on this please? Many thanks.

      Hi yes we have a bridging programme specifically for international nurses where we go through key differences in nursing, such as risk assessments, EPR, national safety standards. We also try to link international nurses to a buddy from their country of origin. Recruitment leads keep an eye and meet them in a welcome meeting then 12 weeks later. Hope that helps.
