- Do you want to add a patch to your football shirt? This was my first attempt at it with a home iron!
I’ve finally applied the UEFA Conference League patch to my Aston Villa 2023/24 Home Kit using a home iron. When I bought this kit, I needed it ASAP for the PL Summer Series so there was no time to wait for patches or printing.
⭐ Steps to iron your own badges onto football jerseys:
Set up your station, ideally with an ironing board
Prepare the shirt by inserting cardboard inside the sleeve and lay it flat (I used a towel but an ironing board is better).
Position the badges on the sleeve - mine were the UEFA Foundation and Conference League patch.
Cover patches with a baking sheet.
Iron on 'Cotton' setting (400º F or 204º C) for 30 seconds.
Check adherence by trying to peel the edge of the patches.
Review results and unplug the iron as soon as you are done using it.
Shoutout to my friend Federico Pastor AKA Dysentery FC. He does some great tutorials on how to iron on namesets and patches over on his channel, definitely subscribe if you haven’t already!

CONFERENCE LEAGUE READY 👊 Have you ever ironed on a sleeve patch or nameset before? 👀
I did the exact same thing with my BHA UEL patch
U going to any villa European games?
Nice one mate!!
I definitely want to, hopefully we make it to the knockouts and I can go to one of those
Ima. City fan but no I haven't. I do what to get the premier league and the fifa clubworld Cup patches to apply to my shirt
Followed this method and it worked perfectly for my CL patches, thanks!
Glad it worked, thank you for watching 🤝
Thank you very much, your solution was unique and worked well
Thanks for watching! 🙌
Very easy, good explained video. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed! Good luck with your project 😁
Nice! If your patch starts peeling off a bit, just do the same steps as you did in this video and apply the heat for 15-20 seconds. Should be fine after that.
thanks bro
Yeahhh!!! Great job!! 🔥🔥🔥
Dont want to rub it but how was the 4-1 loss yesterday. Im a city fan so yeah. Sorry man. But gg yesterday
Hey how does the patch feel to touch, because I have a uxl one but it feels all soft and not rubbery
Yeah it is more of the felt/flocking style patch for UEFA, the Premier League ones are the rubberized feel
Did you need to pull the paper behind the patch
The back of the patch is the heat transfer material, so it is not paper if that's your question.
Where do you buy the badges from because I’ve been wanting to do this with my kit?
eBay!
Do u have a way to remove names of the back?
It's similar! I will make a video about it soon
Can u use a towel
instead of waxed paper or what?
Where did you buy it from
Patches were from eBay!
@@jackgrimse thank you!
