- This is a part 3 of Emaratino Traveler reaching out to the people in needs during this tough time. This time, it became possible with Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Police to give back not only to filipinos but to all nationalities that needs help.
The true spirit of giving is doing for others with no expectation of gain. It might be a gift you bought, one you made, or the gift of time or volunteer to benefit others. Giving means different things to different people and that's how it should be. Giving is an emotion. The Gifts of Generosity. Why giving more than you receive can lead to greater health and happiness. The relationship between generosity and well-being is so strong that the opposite is also true: Selfishness can be self-destructive, says Fahed Al Bloushi (Emaratino Traveler). Generous, charitable, liberal, bountiful, munificent all describe persons who give to others something of value, or the acts of such persons. Generous stresses the warm and sympathetic nature of the giver: a generous gift; generous in praise of the work of others.
Today, it was an honor for us Emaratino Traveler Team members, to be conjoining hands with the DHA (Dubai Health Authority) and the Dubai Police to carry forward an initiative called ‘Fund of Love Initiative’. The Initiative has a large pool of volunteers drawn from different professions and is led by the Emirati Dr. Leqaa Al Maftool who is the Corporate Social Responsibility Team Leader.
We all as a team along with the other considerate individuals and the DHA team side by side with the Dubai Police took part in the initiative which was a success and this shows how much a team of individuals with the same mindset (Helping Others) can go to support people in need.
