Very nice ! you can start with 9 stitches instead of 10, this way you don't have to cheat for the petals :) it's divisible by 3. And it will also stay flat a little more if you have less stitches
Tha is so much perfect gift for Mother’s Day my sister loves sunflower and this is a nice decoration as well. I’m so happy your pattern is perfect and you explained so good
Beautiful 😍

Hi.. Can i use another weight yarn like #3 DK
Yeah, you could! They’d just turn out a little smaller.
@@DesertBlossomCrafts thank you.. I will try them
How many coasters can you make with one ball of yarn each? I like this coaster design and yarn colors!!
Thank you!! I’m not sure honestly. I haven’t even finished one ball of each yet and I have over 10 coasters though, so there’s that!
In your pdf pattern you mention a 4.5mm hook but in this video you are using a 4.0mm hook, does it not matter which one?
Yeah it’s not a big deal either way
How do you make it so you don’t have an open hole in the middle ? I’ve followed the pattern and each one has open holes
I work over the tail end of yarn during the first round - then pull it to cinch it tight! Then weave it in from there.
@@DesertBlossomCrafts thank you!!
