From messy forests to manageable data landscapes: Data platforms to the rescue - Jakob Carlsson

Large amounts of data from different sources can easily become a messy forest if we don’t manage it in a good way. Let’s take a walk through this forest of data and look at how we can have a forest that is not so messy. And what is this thing “data products” that everybody talks about? Should we need a machete to find the data we need or is there a better way?
About Data Alliance:
We believe that all views are equally important in our world, regardless if you’re a data engineer working your way through an obscure data model, a software engineer helping your fellow colleague understand the data generated from your application, or a product owner viewing product metrics. We therefore want to gather everyone into the Data Alliance to share their past and current struggles and/or solutions, no matter if they were successful or not.
