Well uhh, I have some bad news for you...
Narmer is the name that "Ballas" gave himself after he conquered and enslaved our solar system. The same people that sing this song in the game once sang of freedom, independence, and unity (Check out the song "We All Lift Together"). Now they hypnotically sing of bowing down to the golden master their minds are controlled to worship. So no, Narmer is not a real cool guy lol

I realize that the beauty of this title had completely escaped me. I'm curious to find out if you're going to offer it to us in an acoustic version or in the same style as the original version. (or that of Colm McGuinness which comes close)
But since you noted chords, I tell myself that it should be a little closer to the original, and in my opinion, it should suit your voice perfectly. :)

Since mid-October my hours have changed. I no longer have my son to pick up at his institute where the times were often during your Friday afternoon premieres, and I am with my family currently.
I've recorded Sleeping in the Cold Below (which was a super fun project!) and I know there's also We All Lift Together, but those are the ones I know. I'm not super familiar with the games.

This is one of my favorite video games songs. And you made it better, for me. I honestly wish I could hear it over and over and over again for the first time.
You somehow have the ability to make good songs, better, because your voice puts just an extra flare to it. Just that little bit extra just makes it so much better. Obviously the original has a much bigger budget to work with, and it makes it sound far more atmospheric, but your version puts a different feel on it, it feels more personal, and that can really change the dynamic of the song. I can't get enough. Thank you.

My thoughts about the song are these: I knew this song for a while, but haven't really thought of recording it cause I didn't know how to make it work as an acoustic cover. After you suggested it, I played with it for a while until it started to make sense in the guitar hahah. It was a fun challenge and I enjoyed it, for sure (so, it was more relaxing than stressful!) =)

@@GustavoSteiner Ofc it sounds just that little bit different, but I enjoy the difference. Like I said. It sounds far more personal when it's just you and the guitar. I kinda prefer it over the atmospheric feeling with all the extra instruments like in the original.
