    Johnny, I'm a 54 year old married man with no children. The reasons I never had any are my own but I love seeing well behaved children enjoying life like the students in that school. They bring me joy and it's a shame that our modern world kind of takes the joy of children away from us and make us feel creepy if we happen to admire the wholeness and purity of kids because of the actions of a few terrible people. Watching your videos I get the impression that Ukraine is a really nice country. The people seem very friendly and nice but not so much to make it seem phony as it sometimes happens in America. Look forward to seeing your Thailand adventures.

    As you get older, time speeds up. Simple as. When you're born you have no frame of reference for time. As you get older you recognize how much time has passed and how much less of it you have left.

      It is very boring and cold in Norway. Absolutely no quality of life, only those who are rich or have high payment jobs get to enjoy better life. And most travel to other countries to benefit of and have fun, because their own country have not allowed to their people more opportunities during freetime. Lots of judgmental and bullying. It's not a good country at all. Everything is run by the government like a kindergarten. Most people are inside the whole day. Narcotics and mental health issues are doing well in boring norway.

    An increasing population is what is fed to us all the time, but who is saying this and why does it have to be this way? No surprise ,it's vested interests that have some financial gain.
    What about the fact that previous civilizations have lived in relative harmony for tens of thousands of years without risking the planet whilst maintaining a steady population.
    As for your last comment on the d.o.g.e. well that is the idiotic and ironic thing .Trump DUPLICATES an already existing independent entity called the "Government Accountability Office".
    What a way to make things more efficient then to duplicate it! Brilliant!

    • @JohnnyFD
      @JohnnyFD  24 дні тому

      The West isn't maintaining a steady population, check the birth rates, we're all declining. The only countries who are growing are in Africa and India, talk to them about risking the planet.

    • @ageofatheism6638
      @ageofatheism6638 24 дні тому +1

      @@JohnnyFD Two wrongs do not make a right ! Overpopulation is what is happening in the countries you mention where they can not feed their kids they give birth to. In the west (for the most part) we don't have kids if we know we can't support them and there is a net negative on society and the planet.
      Most third world countries rely on "gods will" as an excuse as to whether they get pregnant or not and whether the kid survives or not. pretty sad really.

      I'm not sure honestly. A lot of countries that were open to taking refugees in 2022 are now getting tired of the war. This is why the worst thing that could possibly happen is for there to be a ceasefire without a guarantee that Russia can't just start it up again in a few years again when the support is 100% dried up.

    I am 74 and my life is good, and the only regret I have is that I never had children. From observing my friends with children taking responsibility for the next generation is a spectacular purpose. You are young and will make a great dad, and still have your nomadic life. Children love to travel. All those beautiful women in Ukraine would make great wives.

      We tend to idealise what we don't have. You could have had kids and they could have got sick and died, or got sent to prison, or they could have been successful. It's a lottery. With the way society is going where I live, in some ways I think it's cruel having children.

    Don't know about it be being selfish not having kids. If in the past you didn't feel like conditions were right to settle down - you did not feel it. You feel whatever you feel at that moment. You have time left to be a dad.
    A lot, if not most of life is beyond our control anyway. We just have to ride this experience as best we can.

    The secret to hang out with kids I have found is my friends have kids and I take them to do fun stuff or babysit. It's fun. I get to return kids after fun and parents get a break.

    I love that you are going to the school and helping the kids. On the topic of "being of the generation who is selfish for not having kids and helping society," I can't disagree more. In fact, the opposite is true. What kind of person brings a child into this world of war, suffering, cruelty, and greed? A person never has a child for the child's sake. You don't yet know the child. A person always has a child for selfish reasons, by accident, ignorance, or overactive hormones. "Love" does not bring an innocent child into a cruel world.

      @@JohnnyFD Perhaps your ability to leave Ukraine and not have to go to the frontlines keeps you optimistic. Realistically, and conservatively, tens of thousands of actual Ukrainians have died for a proxy war between elites and to the benefit of the military industrial complex. This is just Ukraine, and not to mention Palestine, Sudan, or Congo to name a few.
      It is okay to count our blessings and privileges, but never quibble with facts. With that being said, I don't think you're evil, just ill-informed.

    • @JohnnyFD
      @JohnnyFD  23 дні тому +1

      Russia invaded Ukraine and Putin CHOOSES to continue their war. They can stop any day they wish. PERIOD. Meanwhile, the military industrial complex ALSO earns profit by helping the CORRECT side DEFEND themselves. Two complex ideas can exist at the same time.
