I miss the days when I was 11-12 avoiding my parent's who rarely ever bothered with me I remember binge playing this game through level to level and spending time going through games that weren't 100% complete and I wanted to complete everything I found myself wanting to listen to this games osts.
3rd birthday was highly underrated. I avoided it cause I heard bad things. When I finally set down and played it, it was an magical experience that I enjoyed almost as much as the first.
unknownwr They won't, PE was never as profitable a franchise as Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest so Square just kinda stopped caring. That's why they let their rights to the PE name run out instead of renewing them, that's also why they always use Primal Eyes as their intro theme instead of each game having a unique intro theme.
@@jeanmichel8919 Well, the main concept for 3rd Birthday is "Overdive", that the character can "Dive" from 1 body to other body. 1st time Eve's Overdive, happened at Aya's Wedding; Aya and Eve's consciousness changing place. And Eve in Aya's body, must shoot "Eve" (Aya in Eve's body). So yeah, the one in the whole 3rd Birthday story, is actually Eve in Aya's body.
That game wasn't bad. I'd say it's more of spin off than actual parasite eve universe, I had to play it few times to fully understand. Not my fav, not fully PE, but Aya is always my number 1 female protagonist tied with Heater from SH3
For me it's spin off.. Noy bad game but for me it will never belong to PE uniwersum, it's just sad that yyoko Shinomura music here is... Well nostalgic but at the same time meh, not her finest work imo

And whoever came up with the story probably was a methhead with a special kind of love for "Clubpenguin".
This game seemed to be more beat em up action speed run rather than the horror game that it was known for.
I miss Parasite Eve...

Third birthday is a funny and cool game, and I like it, but I feel really weird while watching its opening. Is not much of a parasiteeveish game 😐.
