Recycling Buttons Organization

I figured organization idea out about 5 years ago and it has been GREAT for my button collection. I LOVE buttons, they just make me happy! It is such a joy when you need some buttons for a project you go to your collection and you can pull out just what you need /want!

Hi Cindy would it be lovely if we could spend an afternoon with some tea and cake, sharing our button boxes😀😀 I have a very special box ( a 1930s chocolate box) filled with my vintage buttons from the 1920/30/40s on their original cards. I think they are little pieces of history- I am afraid some of my non crafty friends think I am loopy😀😀. I would love that sooo much! When I was first married over 40 years ago, my "elderly" neighbor asked me if I would like to see her button collection - I didn't even know people collected buttons. She had THOUSANDS of them all carded and categorized. She had some VERY old (1700's) military button and then all through history. I didn't appreciate it nearly as much as I should have and I wish I could go back and visit her now! Yes - all my family and friends think I'm a bit loopy with all my sewing supplies too! - Cindy
