I never knew there was a whole mini game with running away from them like that. They always catched me right away and i had to beat them all at the same time xD More than 20 years later and i still learn new things about this game
I really like this as a concept. The armour is BHPL/Ribbon/Deathproof and what else? I think you'd get more turns if you used weapon switch to change to a weapon with BDL/Alchemy and healed using that, and used it for Loner overdrives, or switched back to Caladbolg for attacking btw.

I didn't realise Dark Mindy's Passado could be prevented eith Deathproof; I thought it was like Dark Anima's Pain. I just did a video of beating the Sisters combined without any summons, which is interesting IMHO.
Wow X potion only healing the non over limit amount is painful and I ran into this on the remake just enjoying myself exploring and boom backtracking to explore and ran into a unkillable foe
@@DracorusDracius NTSC PS2 version didn't have Dark Aeons and Penance. Only PAL, Japanese and International PS2 did. HD Remaster standardized this and now it has Dark Aeons and Penance. Once you are branded a traitor to Yevon, Dark Aeons appear. If you go back to: - Besaid Village - Sanubia Desert (where you would enter AlBhed Home) - A Yevon soldier on the Thunder Plains - Macalania Temple - Zanarkand temple after beating Yunalesca (in the same place you fought her) and after getting the airship. - Cavern of the Stolen Fayth (where you get Yojimbo) after the events on Gagazet - Gagazet itself after doing the Blitzball puzzle on the cave a 2nd time - The entrance of Mushroom Rock Road from the Mi'ihen Highroad... ... you will encounter Dark Aeons, each on their respective location. Once you beat all Dark Aeons, you may fight Penance.
I don't remember exactly since this was a long time ago, but most stats were maxed out. I filled most empty nodes in the sphere grid with hp spheres to max out 99999 HP
NAW MAN imma use Zanmato and thats it, the only problem is how to defeat Ixion and yojimbo cuz they are prolly the toughest ones and u cant really get 5 times in a row zanmato...well u can if u are lucky enough but that never happens lol
I dunno why you keep using potions and elixir when regen can do better. Using dispel on self to remove curse, end up taking haste protect and shell while you can just use item like holy water.

You just have to run away from them fast enough

It's the quickest way to heal, and without Rikku to mix, you have to spam items, since all healing items have a cap at 9999 except mixes
Any chance you remember what Abilities you had on that Armour?
Ribbon, Break HP Limit, Auto-Haste and Defense +20%

Ixion really easy to beat actually I just need hastega protect and auto life and I good to go ;)
if you stat max all of them are easy, you dont even need to break hp limit

Customize an armor with break hp limit on it. I think it's dark matter you use to do that

Water of life is better
You can't quick pocket water of life and it also only heals 9999

I've never seen someone waste so many resources on a battle haha... Why are all your other characters weak? Yuna should be well better than that
The point of this was to only use tidus. Like it says in the title.
Considering this is an optional super boss I would not call that a waste.
