Had this same thought. Really rad to see what many consider to be the best of the best pilot struggling with something. Obviously no one's perfect but it's awesome to see the process and grind.

@@blithen it’s something him/nobody has even remotely tried in regular practice. He’s good at what he practices at, and sort of what he doesn’t. This reminds me of skateboarding in many ways with the failed tries.

I gave myself a stranger when I was first 'discovering myself' as a kid.. I was upset how many attempts it took and just when I thought I wasn't gonna pull it off, I nailed that shit. Best feeling ever man. Even though I barely use my left, I couldn't go on throughout life not knowing if I could... Pull it off. 👊

No comment I can muster will do what you have presented here today justice....... everyone tries to buy these skills, they cannot be bought, they cannot be stolen and they cannot be given. They can only be earned! You sir have earned it and at the very least the respect and admiration of every real pilot who watches this. I think I have seen every video you have put out and this my fine sir is by far the best, it shows who and what you really are..... A MASTER of your craft and human like the rest of us (except most of us would have walked away after the broken bottom plate) 👍🏻👍🏻

I was thinking the same thing. He is so skilled that he didn't even need to practice as much as he did. It looked like he was overthinking it. When he finally just decided to go for it, it came easily. So easily that he did it twice in a row. I think he could have nailed it way sooner than he did.

    • @areyoumybuddy

Yeah. You could Definitely tell By the Fact that Many Times When it looks like he might have actually made it (I.E. was Directly above the hole @the top of the ladder)
He'd Often Pull Out prematurely. (Most likely stress related)
But When He Clearly Was Gonna Miss; He'd Follow Thru (&Practice the Missing the ground Part)

Seeing all your missed lineups and crashes reminds me that you are, or once were, human like us. They make the videos of you nailing it even more fun to watch, knowing that there's tons of crashes and destruction during the making.
Inspiring to remember that you crash too, and not to get discouraged when I see things like the rear props and frame arm in my fpv goggle view after a particularly hard landing.

This was a triumph. An EPIC legendary battle between FPV warrior and this dragon of a bando. I tried my hand at this foe, but was no match for it's awesome power. Only those worthy will slay the beast. You must venture to the Southern land of the Carolinas, trek the deepest forests, scale the tallest mounts, and sail the vast seas, until you have reached the training institute in Barnwell. There you must pass the trials and tribulations of bandoland, and make a blood sacrifice in it's honor. Only then will the dragon reveal itself to you. The rest is history.
