She wanted to try wearing cute clothes, but quickly rejected the idea because it wasn't her style and "should" only wear clothes that her stylist chose to look mature. She wanted sit right in front of the air-con, something we've all done before, but stopped immediately after because she would get a cold. Then she gets excited thinking about what sort of pajamas she should wear for the night... Even though she acts very mature, she is just a teenager and secretly wants to do teenager stuff. But because of Kirijo Group, she has no choice but to become mature for her family's sake. A normal teenager like Yukari can try on maid costumes in her room without a care in the world, but not Mitsuru. She is the successor to her company, she has an image to uphold despite being so young. That's why the fact that she was excited to choose her pajamas is so incredibly sad to me, that is one of the very few things she has a choice in. Unlike us normal people who don't give two shits about what pajamas we wear for the night, for Mitsuru, it represents freedom. At least that's how I see it. Fuck, she really is best girl.
