You can unplug the cooling fan. Search in google and alpharex posted a step by step instruction.

Definitely cool looking, but I'll never understand why people want to make it harder for other drivers to see your brake lights. There are already too many bad drivers out there.

They are actually pretty bright. The chrome amber turn signals on the OEMs are a lot harder to see them on in the sunlight

My only issue with these is the "brake" portion of the light is so tiny compared to the gigantic LED strips that appear to be just as bright as the brake light is. Not much changes on the light when the brake is pressed which is kind of the opposite of what you want. Maybe it's just the video but do the LED strips get brigher when the brake is applied or are they the same brightness all the time?

The ones I have are red sequential on the top half. These turn completely amber. Im kinda jealous 😅

Thanks for the video. I just finished the easy install. Surprised by how loud these are and the buzzing/humming sound when on and after turning off. Do you have this as well?

I do. Just installed them a few days ago. My headlights (alpharex luxx) do not buzz but the tail lights sure do.
