I didn't regret for not being Dr. The pressures are high, the risks are high . Actually no room for error. It would takes more energy than lifting 400 lbs.
And did you know the lense is actually just that, a lense, whats surprising about it is theres nothing connected to it, it doesn't even have blood vessel or anything, its just a concave clear thing that you see on flashlight.
I dunno why I got recommended it but thats pretty cool how they just chop up the old lens and put a new one in haha. And it makes me wonder if in the future people will do this with to improve human sight with special lenses.
My grandma had both eyes new lenses, she used a loop even though she was wearing glasses. Now she wears much less stronger glasses and she can see realllyyy well.
I wish my one eye can see again when i was a kid i experience the sight of my both eyes and also so wide to see, and that was 13years after my other eye became blind

Cataract surgeries have been performed for at least as long as we've recorded history. They had to use good old fashion lung capacity to vacuum the obstruction out back in the day, and the results were lackluster when compared to modern surgery for very apparent reasons.

@@canrex7540 not at all necessary. It will hardly take 15-20 minutes and you wouldn't know a thing . Patient may get very low dose anti anxiety tablet on the day of surgery , nothing more is required in usual cases
I had a friend who did it and he felt nothing at all. Just don't go outside without really dark shades and don't watch TV for a couple weeks then your eye is ok
I know this hurts to watch but let's appreciate how far medical science has gone to where we have the knowledge and technology to be able to perform this advanced of a surgery

Would you be able to demonstrate how you hold your instruments in a brief video? For example... Do you grab the phaco like a pencil? How do you position your pinky finger (straight vs bent)? What about your non-dominant hand? Thank you so much!

But eventually i was relaxed.. the surgeons will talk to me if im okay and stuff. Right now I am so happy to see everything clear 🙌

Thankfully you're sedated, valium for example, which helps you feel relaxed.

Just take a benadryl before coming in. Take a nap for the procedure.
