you make some great points. I'm starting to provide more lawncare services as there is more clever money to make. Also more satisfaction than just cutting grass
Everything has gone up in price but compared to what you charge a customer it is definitely one of the best profit margins for sure. I used to work work with one of the top commercial companies and all of us would do 30 to 40 lawns a day. This is the reason I started my own business lol they made so much money off of us
My folks had a guy who would have them buy their fertalizer then he would apply. Only thing was he would have them buy 6-8 bags and on ml y apply 1 and keep the rest. He had them buy a specific thpe and brand and he would make them think he was putting it on by carrying empty bags with him. Folks didnt know any better and they trusted him but got burned in the end.
In my area, I see these fert companies promoting half off first application deals all the time in the spring. I’m surprised that I don’t see this kind of marketing tactic for grass cutting as well.
Hey mike, love the content and advice. I’d love a breakdown on your applicators set up. Truck rig, flowzone nozzle, spreader tips, etc. I currently do pest control and there’s a large amount of crossover. I’m seriously considering adding lawn services to my setup. Thanks! From the hill country
Woooha hold ya horses 🐎 dandelions are an acute response to compacted soil and lack of calcium. Dont destroy them they will go away once they repair your yard. You can speed up the process with compost dressing.
Thank you, you have convinced me to do the work myself

I definitely have to disagree with the materials being cheap. ESPECIALLY this year... and don't even get me started on seed.

Slight exaggeration. You r right.
I agree. A bag of seed could be $150+ or fertilizer one app could be $50.
I’d be interested in what type and brand of chemicals your using
Spraying and ppe is a must boots gloves and suits a must

Got that chicken poo for my yard. Tractor them around. Grass has gotten much more green but still a way to go

I've learned a lot from watching your videos thank you I've passed one of your work vehicles in Michigan rockwood
I never use fertilizer in my lane care bussines because in our country no one want to fertilize their grass
