Based on Elmore Leonard’s novella “Fire in the Hole,” Justified was developed by Graham Yost and stars Timothy Olyphant as Deputy US Marshal Raylan Givens, a lawman who finds himself drawn back to his home state of Kentucky. In Justified’s final season, the long brimming conflict between Raylan and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) will finally come to a head. The series co-stars Walton Goggins as ‘Boyd Crowder;’ Nick Searcy as ‘Chief Deputy Art Mullen;’ Jacob Pitts as ‘Deputy Marshal Tim Gutterson;’ Erica Tazel as ‘Deputy Marshal Rachel Brooks;’ Joelle Carter as ‘Ava Crowder;’ and Jere Burns as ‘Wynn Duffy.’ Yost wrote the pilot and serves as Executive Producer/Writer on the series. Executive Producers on the series include Carl Beverly, Sarah Timberman, Michael Dinner, Fred Golan, Dave Andron, Don Kurt, Taylor Elmore, Timothy Olyphant, and the late Elmore Leonard. Justified is produced by Sony Pictures Television and FX Productions.

Raylan stays ready so he doesn't have to get ready
“Shot up a couple spots including our house. Killed Casper Johns. wasn’t with the crew just livin with us at the time, and then this other fellow Arlo had been runnin with since high school”
a whole season could be told from just a couple lines of dialogue.
A lot of character can be pulled as well; easily talking about your own house being shot up as a kid, taking in a person who needed somewhere to live which tells us a lot about the family dynamic, mentioning arlo lost someone probably very close to him if he was pulling jobs with him since high school, which means raylan was there as a boy to experience that aftermath with arlo.
it’s been said a million times but I’ll say it again, the writing is just so good
The actor who plays Hot Rod (?) with the big beard is terrific; Love it how his face changes when he sees how serious Raylan is about taking some of them out first. He reconsiders quickly,. knowing he'd be the first one killed probably. Great show
That is the late great Mickey Jones. He was in the mini series V in the 80s. He also had a 15 second part in Total Recall (1990).
Mickey was all over TV and bit parts in movies in the 80’s and 90’s. He could play funny , tough , and was actually a pretty good drummer. Check out the video for “ What condition my condition was in” by First Edition.
I really like is scene... one of my favorites. Of all the people I feel badly for, its Casper Johns. I think of him often...
One of the best scenes in the entire series
Believe it or not, the actor who played Hot Rod was the mechanic who asked Clark Griswold how much money he has to pay for the car repairs in Vacation
Mickey Jones was also the drummer for Kenny Rogers and the First Edition, as well as part of the K&B Construction Crew on Tool Time.
Played drums for Bob Dylan and was in Slingblade among many things.@johnholliday5874
Yeah, the janitor from Breakfast Club is also a mob boss on the show, too.
I can't belive we went from this to Primeval :(
Nice
RAYLAN GIVVVVENNNS 😍

DEPUTY U.S MARSHAL RAYLAN GIVVVVENNS. As I live and breathe 😂
Such a great scene. Season 5 is the weakest part of Justified and if Loretta had stuck around (and they could have just entirely removed the awful social worker subplot, deleted Ava in prison, and removed Daryl Crowe and made Wendy Crowe the main antagonist) it would have been 100x better. This scene alone is one of the high points!
She wasnt main antagonist material
@@redfordreddington8834 Neither was Darryl, he was the most comical "bad guy" and Rapaport absolutely sucked in the role.
@@Aimee_Oakland yeah
TV shows are like humans. They have to be accepted as a whole. None of that 1/2 of man A and 1/2 of man B would be perfect man.
yeah he was cringey@@Aimee_Oakland
