many lullaby's are sung to quell the fears of children and help them cope with scary realities. plagues, darkness, death, the unknown. all of these are things a child might fear depending on circumstances, and rather than deny them parents used to explain them and try to help them not be feared as debilitatingly.
This is the ultimate lullaby. Easy tune. Could be slow or fast paced. Disturbing lyrics. Just like the classics. Lol. You did well remixing this. Very pleasant composition. Time to loop as my new bed time song. Lol

When you first hear the song in the show “This sounds pretty” (expects the characters to fall asleep) The second the flowers mention death “... well that seems bad” When you hear the song while meeting the king “W-well that’s not right” When figuring out the lyrics “Well that’s creepy” When finding the remix “Terrifying masterpiece” (The nowhere King would enjoy this remix ... as he pulls your soul from your body)

Here's what I imagine. A child wakes up in the middle of the night to hear a soft chime. They slowly get up and start looking around to find what is making the beautiful music, and realize it's coming from outside. They quietly walk in the silent house to go through the open front door where they see a figure dancing to the music in the soft snow while the moon is casting a gentle blue light. The child decides to dance with the shadowy figure thinking 'I'll be back in the house after the song ends'. They danced and they danced in harmony and everything seems to be in balance. 'Even the wind wants to join in' the child thinks when the icy wind caress their cheek. But, suddenly they felt very tired and cold, and their movements became slower and slower. As they start to collapse from exhaustion the figure that they've been dancing with slowly stops as well. The figure slowly turns to look at them and for the first time since the child has been dancing with the figure, they realized what it looked like. Initially, they didn't think about the appearance of the figure; their only concern was to just dance with them to the music. Now they see that the figure was completely made out of tar, a human shape initially until it slowly morphed into a spider-like deer creature as the song progressed. The only thing that they can discern from the blackness was a deer shaped skull and it's toxic green flames as eyes watching them. To the child's dismay, when they try to call out for help they find their lips to be frozen shut. They laid there cold, wet and shaking. It felt like hours, but it was really only a couple of minutes, before they started to feel warm and hot. Still unable to move, the deer's head moves to look down on the child as they slowly succumb to the weather. As their eyes get heavy and their consciousness slips, they can finally hear what the last lyrics to the song were. 'You will bring joy to the Nowhere King, when he sees the light leaving your eyes'.

INSTANTLY fell in love with this as soon as I hit 1:30... I love how it stays close to the original but still adds something special, perfect remix of a song tbh
The beginning of the song gives you such a wonderful feeling of love, happiness and hope, but through the middle, as the pitches become more eerie, it’s like those emotions are becoming pulled away, and the feeling of hopelessness and pain fill in the gap, and at the end it’s like a mix, with the eerie music, dominating but having sprinkles of those hopeful notes, and groups of tones that just give you that dreamy sense. A truly perfect piece that describes the nowhere king without the need for any words.
Man I love this show. On the surface a lighthearted kids cartoon, just underneath, psychological horror and tragic stories while still being hilarious absurd and wholesome.
So my theory on the Nowhere King is that he himself was a centaur who moved to War World and stayed for as long as Horse stayed in Centaur World. As we see with Horse, she becomes more and more cartoonish throughout the season and eventually turns full cartoon. My theory is the Nowhere King had the same thing happen to him, but opposite. Living in War World for a while, and because of a Centaurs Magic being more then War World is used to, it eventfully consumed him ands turned him into that glob mess.
This actually makes a lot of sense. It's clear that The Nowhere King and Woman were lovers, so he must have been in the human world at some point. Hopefully we'll find out how they both ended up where they were in season 2.
@@charlesajones77 Indeed. the think to bare in mind is that this entty has been trapped in a void for many years. eniugh time to even twist a sane persons mind beyond recognisancr
The emotions this frighteningly lullaby like tune invokes sends the hair on my arms on end. It truly encapsulates the fear, awe, and peace that comes to mind when coming face to face with the eventual. "The Dreamless Sleep" and for it, "A Lullaby Requiem"
"You will bring joy to the nowhere king when he sees the light leave from your eyes" I love that part, it's so beautifully twisted and I love it so much
Oh yes, that's exactly what this song needed: a music box cover. Perfect. Now I can play this in the distant corners of a large house and have it echo through the halls.
I've slowed down the song just a tad (0.75%) and it just adds an extra kick to it that gives me shivers :> Slowed or not, however, it's absolutely amazing to listen to and has been a great deal of inspiration to the mood/creation of some of my drawings :)
The nowhere king is a rather forgotten soul seeking vengeance, as he died in season 2 it’s rather sad as we know now his backstory. Guess we saw the light fading in HIS eyes. Anyways I’m happy to see the nowhere king died. The two seasons were good and described the nowhere king perfectly, if theirs ever gonna be a new season I’d like to see new villains or over coming a threat.. while rider would probably have trauma and PTSD trying to cope about the general was evil all along and she never noticed it. Plus dealing with war as a young adult is traumatising and will lead to spooky or just outright terrifying dreams
A potential season 3 idea: Humans wage a war against Centaurs to claim Centaurworld. Horse and the others try to find a way to form peace again. There would still be a main antagonist, plot, character arcs, new characters and new threats. But I'm describing the main idea.
This remix is really good. As far as the Nowhere King goes, he's at least in my top 10 villains in recent cartoons, and considering how many I've seen, that says a lot. I was expecting something, but not that.
This is the main battle theme of a location in my dnd campaign, basically an illusion crafted by a magical castle that feeds off of the memories of past universes. In this case, it is a memory of what is to BE, if the main villain completes his goal. He wants a world where there is no magic and there is no god. He doesn't care that the world would quietly die without magic to keep it stable. He doesn't care that if there is no gods, no one can reincarnate souls into new bodies. In his new world, no one else cares either - they are all blissfully ignorant of the fact no one is being born in this world. The water is slowly drying up, the winds never blow, the earth is infertile, and the world is steadily freezing due to the lack of fire in the world. The moon is shattered and the only sun in the universe is swollen and red, on the cusp of explosion. The villain just cares that he managed to get his previously hyper-dead fiance, Joy, to return to him, whole in mind, soul, and body. She is not undead, she is not broken, she is truly back with no flaws or caveats. It is all he ever wanted. They will die in this new, doomed world together, happy, quiet. The only thing standing between him and this 'utopia' is the party, heroic universal constants that MUST stop him or else everything is ruined. If they die... he will have no one to stop him from using the castle to alter the world to the way he sees it. "You will bring Joy to the Nowhere King when he sees the light fading your eyes."
so glad i found this again w/ the show's anniversary recently :') this song already has a really nostalgic quality about it to me, but this remix cranks that up to 11 and then just keeps going with the beautiful original flare you give it!! great work!

Lukia, I don't know who you are. I've never heard of you and I've never seen you're content. But you must know this. The Nowhere King song is a beauty that can not be improved or changed. It is the best iteration of itself and nothing you can do will make it better. That's what I would say if this weren't an absolute banger. I'm so happy. Thank you.
YAAAAY FINALLY A REMIX! MORE REMIXES PLEASE! I've been waiting for a good remix of this song. For some reason this song gives me chills & makes me feel like I want to cry 😭
There's been very few songs to extract such a reaction from the back of my mind. If there is ANYTHING that makes me love the Nowhere King (other than everything about him) its this song. It's genuinely my favorite song from the whole show. Of course, not because its some kind of banger, but because its such a blend of "im going to shit my pants" and "eerily beautiful".
You should do the nowhere king again but go to a more rock/evil side because the nowhere king song is used both as a soft song to relax to and a song to be creeped out on. you should def make one more rock and creepy! this is just a suggestion :D
Why is it that when I listen to this song I think of two villians sitting on a bench atop a hill watching as the cities and towers in the distance burn in smoldering flames. One watches with absolute glee and delight, while the other closes their eyes and looks away, feeling guilt for all the lives they just took yet also deeply numb on the inside.
The Nowhere King May be my favourite song, as in one of the episodes I recall the flowers or something singing, as a foreshadowing, and I just really like this. I have a problem with thinking about death or smth ;-;
Not gonna lie for me it was kinda sad. It suddenly made me remember that time when I was a kid and we had no vets nearby and someone ran over my puppy. It didn't die on the spot and I had to be the one to end its misery. It had no chance of survival as it's brain was completely mush. The feeling of desperation, despair, hope, and wishful thinking all mushed in my own realization in the span of only 15 minutes. Ahhh what dark times... Did I mention I was frekin 10!? Luckily I didn't grow up to be twisted, just a little numb.
I wonder, if the world ends (nuclear apocalypse style) would future generations pass on, like the general story of cartoon, tv shows, movies, ect. Because if this song survived into that hypothetical future, then people would have no idea it came from the weird amalgamation of a show that is centaurworld. And thats like the funniest thing ever to me.
I love villains like the nowhere king, Entity villains that you know as soon as they show up you're in trouble. characters: like the Nowhere king, the lich, the beast, bill cipher and Gaster are all so fun and interesting to watch

It feels like I’m being forcefully laid down for a nap by something incomprehensible.
I feel like when my parents fed me melatonin as a child haha
His entire backstory makes me so sad. Makes it hard to blame him 🥺.
Just finished it. That was heart hurting
The Nowhere King is one of those concepts that felt like there was ALOT more planned for. I love what we got, but I'm also curious at what we missed.
Love it! I have been drooling over this song for a month!
Thanks for listening!
Coming back here after the second season completely broke my heart. I miss when he was just scary.
Such a calm song. Calm as the grave, one could say
I was so worried when I saw the word remix, but you did an amazing job of perserving the creepy calmness of the song. Great work!
Just heard the Last Lullaby and I'm crying came here to just imagine both songs together and the song now makes so much more sense....
I love how the song has a strange joyful feeling to it even though it's incredibly dark
EASILY the best version I have heard thus far. Well done. :)
Thank you for listening, glad you think so! 🥰
He lived in the middle separating the two worlds, not living in either
This actually makes a lot of sense. It's clear that The Nowhere King and Woman were lovers, so he must have been in the human world at some point. Hopefully we'll find out how they both ended up where they were in season 2.
@@charlesajones77 Indeed. the think to bare in mind is that this entty has been trapped in a void for many years. eniugh time to even twist a sane persons mind beyond recognisancr
you were really close to what actually happened wow
@@jcpenney3371 Just remembered I made this comment and wow I was really close
I'll play this to my child when I'll have one. Better get them used to horror like this early :D
Oh no xD
My mom be like:
listening to this while getting ready for the day. nice
I fell glitter floating everywhere... wait... this is not glitter... its the ashes of your fallen beloved ones
I'm definitely going to spread this song around because it deserves the views! :D
Thank you! Im glad you think so :)
The emotions this frighteningly lullaby like tune invokes sends the hair on my arms on end.
It truly encapsulates the fear, awe, and peace that comes to mind when coming face to face with the eventual. "The Dreamless Sleep" and for it, "A Lullaby Requiem"
"You will bring joy to the nowhere king when he sees the light leave from your eyes"
I love that part, it's so beautifully twisted and I love it so much
I love the false sense of security and comfort this song provides
I really appreciate the adding of the music box cranking and synth, it adds a lot to the disturbing factor with how weirdly comforting it is
THE BEST SONG IT GOT BETTER HOORAYYY
Thank you! Im not sure if it got better but definitely different haha 😅
it's been two years since I've heard this song, I'm revisiting this song it still gives me chills
Darkness can be soothing, while still being terrifying and eerie, it brings peace and fear.
I desperately need this on Spotify, I have a bedtime playlist, please 😭
The slowing down at the end actually felt like my heartbeat was slowing to a stop
Oh yes, that's exactly what this song needed: a music box cover. Perfect. Now I can play this in the distant corners of a large house and have it echo through the halls.
If i ever have kids im going to sing this to them in the crib.
Oh boi xD Im not sure if this lullaby is good for child development haha
I've slowed down the song just a tad (0.75%) and it just adds an extra kick to it that gives me shivers :>
Slowed or not, however, it's absolutely amazing to listen to and has been a great deal of inspiration to the mood/creation of some of my drawings :)
Holy crap, this makes me even MORE excited for season 2-
jesus christ i cant stop listening to this
a hauntingly beautiful cover
You know, it’s actually a soothing melody without the lyrics.
Im thinking about doing an instrumental version soon perhaps 😅
This plays beautifully though a speaker 😍✨
I love this song it’s like terrifying but calming. It’s like something I could easily fall asleep to but in addition, have nightmares.
This remix is really good. As far as the Nowhere King goes, he's at least in my top 10 villains in recent cartoons, and considering how many I've seen, that says a lot. I was expecting something, but not that.
Love this version so much.
:0 I have also a idea about thriwing this song to my dnd campain :3
this is so good, thanks for your hard work dear friend
Im glad you enjoyed it friend!
Ok time to put this on loop 🔁
Gonna be vibing to this one ☝️
Be wary not to fall asleep to it haha.
so glad i found this again w/ the show's anniversary recently :') this song already has a really nostalgic quality about it to me, but this remix cranks that up to 11 and then just keeps going with the beautiful original flare you give it!! great work!
This is so under appreciated
Thank you for giving it a listen!
THIS IS SO GOOD I LOVE IT. And the little music box rewind sound effect you added was so creative! Makes it all the eerier >:D
Aaaa thank you! I had a music box i was going to record in real life but the clicky sounds just weren't clicky enough so i ended up sampling it else where. Glad you enjoyed it though!
Listen to this in your back garden at night, the atmosphere is awesome!!
Now that is totally awesome actually haha
Not gonna lie nowhere king was bad ass
Agreed
Absolutely fantastic. I adore it! You did amazing on this!♥
Aaaa thank you so much 🥰!!
I have a weakness for this song but when thr 2nd wind up finished this hit me with so much energy I teared up bad and got goose bumps. I dont even know how that works. Amazing
Thank you so much for enjoying my remix!
Awe man now I really want a ver of the last lullaby like this. It hits so much more now
I need the 8 hours version of this uwaaaa
Good Work btw
Lukia, I don't know who you are. I've never heard of you and I've never seen you're content. But you must know this. The Nowhere King song is a beauty that can not be improved or changed. It is the best iteration of itself and nothing you can do will make it better.
That's what I would say if this weren't an absolute banger. I'm so happy. Thank you.
Im so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for the compliment!
I have no words, this is just amazing.
Thank you! Im glad you liked it 🥰
Am I the only one who actually wants this song as a real music box song for my office space?! I love this soooo much!
incredible! this is truly amazing! you deserve more subs and viewers
You should do the nowhere king again but go to a more rock/evil side because the nowhere king song is used both as a soft song to relax to and a song to be creeped out on. you should def make one more rock and creepy! this is just a suggestion :D
@@treores1663 haha I might come back and do something evil with it soon. Got a few other projects to tackle first though!
@@Khajiit_Kitty alrighty thanks for looking at my suggestion ^_^
This song gives me chills everytime I hear it.
That’s actually a really cool scene, especially if you were to put it in a villain focused story
The Nowhere King May be my favourite song, as in one of the episodes I recall the flowers or something singing, as a foreshadowing, and I just really like this. I have a problem with thinking about death or smth ;-;
I'm sorry to hear you went through that, I hope you have healed from that experience
holy- is this real? Is it all a dream? Wait. It can’t be. Finally, a mix I’ve been waiting for. :’)
This remix is incredible, if you ever get it on spotify it will be looped for hours
Ill see about getting a Spotify artist account soon :)
@@Khajiit_Kitty 🤩
I wonder, if the world ends (nuclear apocalypse style) would future generations pass on, like the general story of cartoon, tv shows, movies, ect. Because if this song survived into that hypothetical future, then people would have no idea it came from the weird amalgamation of a show that is centaurworld. And thats like the funniest thing ever to me.
I love villains like the nowhere king, Entity villains that you know as soon as they show up you're in trouble. characters: like the Nowhere king, the lich, the beast, bill cipher and Gaster are all so fun and interesting to watch
I havent even seen the show and I can tell the nowhere king is something of a unique villain
