As I watched this I thought about " the 4 Yorkshire men " ( monty python ) it would not have taken long for a walkabout in our old house . We lived in a ground floor single end In the Calton . 1 room with an alcove for a double bed for us all to sleep in mum dad & 4 boys . Toilet out in the close . On the upside. The back courts were like an adventure playground for kids 😂😂😂 we left there when I was 5. . Cheers bro
I live in Wilson St, wis tryin tae see if I recognise your voice lol, but I didnae. I watched this efter watching a video about Robert St by Sam and Jess Explore, they pure slated the place man, stuff like ' imagine growing up in this poverty' 'it makes you sad for kids who grew up here'. They're english, the dafties never mentioned it's only declined so much in recent years, saying the locals aren't friendly and it's all drug dealers and junkies 🙄 fkn hate that association, and the locals aren't friendly cos they've got an English accent and they're acting like they're on safari, a poverty safari. Your video was better in my opinion. I just hope when it gets knocked down, that my street does as well and I get a new house 😂
They did a decent job on the videoing but as you say, they're outsiders who wouldn't know how it was back in the day. I got other vids inside the school and church if you haven't seen them yet. Cheers.
@@paranormal_uk Nice 👌🏻 subbed to you. I grew up in woodhall, went to holy family, but I used to go to the school at night for keep fit classes, and never been inside the church, I'm curious to see what it's like. ✌🏻

@@Glenn1967ful I know, I've always lived local, and I remember it being a place where a lot of people were actually waiting on a list to move into, I've seen it decline over the years, sad.
