You're truly finding your sound now. Sounds a little bit like "Violet" but uniquely different. Definitely 90's rock meets 2023 Indie and you're the only one I hear doing it. I'll keep saying it until you have so many fans that you don't see my comments anymore. Keep it going 😊
This song speaks volume. I've seen people in the comments interprate this song in different ways which is really interesting, I see it as feeling suffocated by a relationship and realizing that you have forgotten to leave time for your closest friends.
I'm not sure if that was how you wrote it, or if it came from another angle (maybe the other person was a former partner?) but as a singer-songwriter I know that whatever the intent behind a song your audience will always find a way to relate to it in some way, which will influence how they perceive it. Your songs are perfect in this way, with just the right amount of detail in the lyrics to suggest a narrative, but not enough to solidify it. If that makes sense?
Please keep them coming! So happy this is finally out, and btw if you get a minute release an album would you ;)

There’s a song about writers block by Enter Shikari and it’s called “It Hurts” you’d probably appreciate it, infact the whole new album is amazing, all written in some barn where the only electricity is from solar panels and stuff, and they stayed in the middle of nowhere in a barn to write

Years ago I remember watching Maisie Peter's UA-cam when she did little acoustic solo videos on her phone and earlier this year here in New Zealand I saw her open for Ed Sheeran at our countries biggest stadium... Absolutely incredible! It's been awhile since I've heard anything that touched my heart like this song and video. Ha! But I feel that way every time Lexie put a new one out. I am proud to be a fan of a young artist that is not afraid of working her butt off for us few that appreciate her work. I only hope that a lot more join the Lexie Rock club for her sake.
