Amazing as always man I've been waiting for an update of EOTH. I feel that they're underdeveloped currently in the mod and can't wait for the update. Keep up the amazing work!
The Empire of the Hand is one of my favorite faction, mainly because it is an Imperial Remnant faction that brings its own aesthetic to separate it from the several other Remnant factions. Out of this and the New Republic, only the Pentastar Alignment brings its own aesthetic while the rest of the Imperial Remnant and Imperial Warlords all look the same (I guess this one has red star destroyers). Both in space and on ground, replacing turbolasers with megamasers, the Empire of the Hand is a faction in its own right, all the other Imperial Factions, look like Clonetroopers in comparison.
Well, they're not really an Imperial Remnant, the EotH was created during the Empire era by Grand Admiral Thrawn when he was sent by Palpatine to explore the Unknown Regions
I love the new look! Empire of the Hand is my favorite of the Thrawn's Revenge factions. Been dying waiting for their roster updates!!
Can’t wait to play this, when will it come out.
They don’t give firm release dates but apparently testing will be starting soon and it is usually not too long after that.

Wow such fantastic work! I just love how different these ships look.
Do you think the next update could be focused around multiplayer GC? Me and my friend love to do it but there is only one decently sized map, you can change starting era, and ship yards can only be built on planets you start with, and if you lose a planet with a ship yard even if you recapture the planet you lose access to ship yards for that planet. There are quite a few improvements that could be made as well, and I’d really appreciate it if this was done and I’m sure many people would also like to see this done.
Edit: another big problem is that whoever plays NR has almost direct access to two of the imp ship yards as soon as the game starts and they can immediately take those out before the imp player can even get a chance to move anything around to defend the planets (bilbringy or whatever it’s called and yaga minor I think) making it whoever plays NR wins every time. Something needs to be done to fix this like being able to build ship yards at any planet you control or the empire starting with a bit more planets under its control (this is only on the empire vs NR map)
Multiplayer GCs aren’t supported since 2.3 or so. They don’t work with Luca scripting and basically 90% is done through lua scripting in TR and FotR so it will never be supported in the main mod.
Some of the chiss ships remind me of the BC-303 class

What were the ship classes in Chaos Rising? I vaguely remember terms like Patrol Craft, Man-Of-War, Nightdragon, etc.
It’s a Legends mod so those ships from canon would never appear

I feel so conflicted, i did a empire playthrough last time and went full dark empire. i was going to do a republic run next but the new chiss stuff looks great! what to do first? what to do first?
New Republic because it is getting a lot of visual updates that IMO actually look BETTER than these do and they are getting more government changes overall.

@@kybercat7 I think Corey said that the Hapens will not be coming in 3.0 as a playable faction but I may be wrong about that.

Republic is gonna get some new models and a new political mode where you can place heroes like voon Massa and his luckerhulk over Mon calamari or sullust and these heroes ships can be upgraded not to mention new candidates for chancellor honestly the empire of the hand is mostly getting an overhaul in units and models

Is the old Ascendency star destroyer getting taken out? I liked that design.
Love the new ships, don't get me wrong, the Chiss ships before were nice, but these have their own feel and feel more offensive than ships like the MC90, but not as titanic as an ISD-II.
These look amazing. Im right now actually doing a Empire of the hand Playthough and ive prgressed to era 3. But im wondering, why are some of these ships not included in the current restor? Like i cant build or even find the phalanx anywhere. And i can only build 5 kinds of different capitol ships. Soooo are these supposed to be in the game curently? or are they going to be released soon? and if so any idea when?
Man, I really hope these ships can appear on either The Mandalorian (if we're extremely lucky) or the sequel series to Rebels (assuming The Mandalorian isn't that sequel).

Here’s hoping they bring back the capture shuttles. Personally, I had a lot of fun playing is the new republic because of that.
It was cut because the script broke, not permanently. It is fixed for 3.0

Will they also fix the multiplayer menus, since thise were bugged last time I played the mod?
If your talking about the skirmish bug I think all a player has to do is reselect every drop down for themselves and it will fix it
@@liamcarden6779 That's ridiculous, but I will try it. Also, is there a way to play LAN or online with a friend against only AIs? That didn't seen to work either.

@@CoreyLoses You enter the lobby and cannot select anything properly.
The lobby also doesn't update information properly for both players, and as I remember it we couldn't start a game.
Forces of Corruption didn't have that problem, so I am fairly certain it was the mod or the steam version of it (I did have both in my mods folder).
That wouldn't be a mod issue- we do MP regularly and don't have control over those functions of the game. Not being able to start would just be if you have players who are using an invalid faction combo, which is a result of the game being unable to create ID tags properly, you basically have to have a player on the Empire, NR or EotH
