We don't like immigration agents - the ones' that aren't authorized by ICCRC and qualified to help you with your application in exchange for money - first of all, it's not legal to do that, and second of all, it's so easy that you don't really need paid help! We are a young couple who started their Canadian Immigration journey in 2018 and moved to Canada 3 days before the pandemic hit in March 2020. Over the course of our application, we have seen so many people getting screwed over by greedy / fraudulent and unauthorized immigration consultants who promise you the world in exchange for thousands of dollars and deliver a whole lot of NOTHING; to an extent that in many cases, the applications get rejected, due to their negligence.
Therefore, we are taking matters in our own hands. After months of research and our own experience of applying for a Canadian PR, we came up with an e-book series & this UA-cam channel which would include - errors to avoid, perfect sample documents (my own) and alternate ways of immigrating to Canada - 100 pages of absolute goldmine between these 3 e-books - no filters, no premium versions to these ebooks... everything is out there FOR FREE, for you to read and execute the process yourself! All we are doing in these ebooks is sharing our experience of applying for PR ourselves / structuring and pointing you in the right direction via various different resources that are available on IRCC's official website. The UA-cam channel will compliment the e-book and add some personality and entertainment to the entire process :-)
Volume 1: Step by step express entry process from know nothing about immigration all the way to getting an invitation to apply (ECA, IELTS etc). Download here - www.potatotalkies.com/
Volume 2: Post ITA express entry process - documentation, samples, POF, Proof of work, medical, biometrics all the way to getting a stamped passport ;-) Download here - www.potatotalkies.com/
Volume 3: Alternate ways of moving to canada | Provincial Nominee program - OINP, AINP, MPNP, NSNP, SINP, RNIP and more. Download here - www.potatotalkies.com/

thank you for this video! I'm in my final phase of Masters in Paris and looking to get internships/jobs in Canada. This video is going to be really helpful. Thank you guys, this came at a right time. Really appreciate your content. Just a question (maybe you've covered this in your earlier videos) - is it difficult to get visa for work/job without being a student in Canada if one has studied in France (with an Indian passport)? I know its a broad question, but it'll be great if you could share some insights on this. Thank you so much !
if u are fluent in French and have some work experience from India or France with fact that u have masters degree u might be eligible for PNP for the province of Quebec. If you are bilingual with French and English , some jobs even will offer you extra premium by the hour.
Nice tips..thanks
👏👏👏
Thanks Nav for the video helpful, just checking if you removed the video you uploaded just before this video,?
Very informative
Thanks for information.
I have one question
I completed my graduation in 2017 after that I done 3plus year job in IT field 2017 to 2020. In 2020 I started my MBA in information technology from 2020 to 2022. That experience is considerably for PR show i can show them year plus experience is enough
Liking the videos...Good going.Btw is Simran's job permanently work from home?
Yes :)
Liked the video. Can you pls share what Simran do in IT and what her salary is in USD? I want to compare what we get paid in CaD for similar positions. Thank You !
Hello...could you guys make a video on how someone from non IT background become a software developer? What kind of technologies should a person focus on to get an entry level software development role etc? It would be a great video since your ( Navjot) wife is a software engineer? I would really like to know her insights on this 🙏🙏

Hello Navjot and simran.. very informative video. Can you make a video on networking on LinkedIn and also how did you get a job in USA. I am a technical recruiter and have been trying networking on linkedin as well as applied to tons of US companies but with no luck yet. Would be grateful for suggestions. Thank you.
Will try. But it’s usually a very long discussion and steps to get networking right - which is why I have a 6 hour program on that.

Should I pursue US-based remote jobs after becoming a PR, because of the NOC level requirements for CEC?
Yes
Thanks guys for a wornderful information. I have one question for simran. How much can be a perfect expected salary for an iOS Developer with 3.5 yrs of experience? is 70k too much to expect for a right candidate?
85k+
Bohot badiya points they, ek toh last wala point not being industry specific and specialization wala.
But you know paaji, yeh na India mei bada bhed bhav chalta hai. Jaise mai pehle retail sales mei tha, mai agar brand change karlu toh company bolti yaar tujhe na jyada salary nai de saktey bcoz Tu pehle Crytal bechta tha lekin yeh toh jewelry hai...Hamne bol Ok ji Phir jab Jewelry badiya bechne lag gaya.. Phir doosri company nei select hua toh phir wahi... Salary nahi de saktey jyada bcoz yeh toh furniture hai... Phir dimaag kharab hogaya mai bola bhaad mei jayo sab brands mai hospitality mei sales mei ghus gaya
Neways thodi lambi kahani hai paaji.. Kitchner aa k batata hu... But pata nai aap kahi calgary na chale jao..... Mai toh phir bhi job change kar raha tha... Aapka sai hai... Seedha territory hee change kardete ho aap 😄
But one thing clearly understood that Canadian Market is comparatively different from Indian market in terms of jobs and the way they look at experience etc which is good.

LinkedIn
Its been more than 3 months now and i am still struggling to get a job which is related to my job profile or my industry. Im quite unsure about several things
Networking is key on LinkedIn

I had my noc code as 2131( Skill Type A) ...when i submitted my ee profile.
I received an email stating that i was in the ee pool.
Then after a few days the sinp draw happened and ITAs were given for noc code 0711
So to increase my chances i changed my noc code to 0711 ( Skill Type 0 ).
I submitted an EOI via oasis portal under SINP for 0711.
Does it affect my ee profile?
Do i have to delete and submit a new ee profile.?
I am confused.
Please do reply.
You can make changes to the profile.
Make sure you applied separately for SINP.
Thank you for your reply...
How do i apply for SINP separately
after apllying through Oasis portal ??
I am confused.

I've already applied for spousal open work permit, what exactly are the steps I could do to get a job before hand and anything else I could do for more outreach.
Volunteer / consult / freelance for Canadian company - using LinkedIn
What would say the difference is for a similar developer role between a hcol us city vs Toronto salaries. Example 30 percent less? Or more ?
Could be anywhere between 30-100% more
