It‘s worth mentioning that this plane is based on the A350-ULR. thanks to the reduced passenger capacity, it can fly nonstop to any airport on earth, even to Auckland and to Rarotonga.

I, as a German, like the german aircraft more. But you didn't mention in the video that the "Luftwaffe" also has other airbus-passenger planes used for VIP-Transportation: Airbus A319-133CJ, Bombardier Global 5000, Airbus A321-200, Bombardier Global 6000, Airbus A321-LR. But I'm pretty sure, there are still more planes, which are just not listed. According to the "Luftwaffe"-website the A340-300 is still on duty.
Brit here, have to say the a350 looks the dogs bollocks! That said, Americas Air Force one, is more of a war plane, than just a civil aircraft. I understand why and also the need for such a big aircraft. I love the 747, travelled on one many times. The winner for me is the A350, its just sleek and modern.
As a foreigner living in Germany, I think it reflects the country very well. Germans aren't for flashyness and do not like to display their flag prominently, so the subtle touch on the winglets is pretty on-point.
It’s a shame that the third color is just yellow instead of the original correct color which is gold. Would look so much better with the original tricolor black-red-gold.

These are just the most modern additions to a wider fleet of planes. And they are not only there for the chancellor but also a bunch of other officials to fly to political events
We are talking about the most powerful economy in Europe and the third economic power in the world after US and China, not a country like Somalia. And since this aircraft belongs to the Luftwaffe, i assume its a military spending. A350 Is A Beautiful Air Craft.Great Video
With a range of 10800 nm, it can reach every airport in the World. On a test flight, it went nonstop from Berlin to Canberra
The abbreviation for nautical mile is NM. "nm" is the abbreviation for nanometer. 10800 nm would be 0,0108 mm or 0,000425 inch.
As a German I can say you pronounced it fairly good :)
As a Spaniard, its so random to me that she took an Iberia a330 to bueno Aires 😂😂😂
The German Chancellor was not arrogant or too proud to fly on a Spanish plane instead. Not every head of government does that.
@@nettcologne9186 I’m not saying she was at all, I was just saying that it’s funny. Nothing more or nothing less

Absolutely beautiful aircraft.
The external paint design could be SO MUCH BETTER...
I think its okay. They arent an airline and looking at the plane everyone knows its a german one. Its kinda basic but I think that isnt a bad thing.
typical german understatement

In one sentence: Airbus is superior to Boeing!
damn right
The original German government aircraft were the A310s which Imterflug had acquired before the end of the GDR.
And before that they had 707s.
Actually the pronounciation of Regierungsflieger was really decent
I love the A350 but isn't 3 of them overkill for a single country ? I mean, it must be quite expensive to maintain all three !
