We have snow almost up to Spring grazing. In the valley here it goes from snowy frozen to frost frozen to tractor axle deep mud to growing season in which the pasture grows so fast our sheep cant keep up so we end up mowing early on the area that they cant knock down fast enough. Then by August it slows and the sheep catch up. My problem is that most of my pasture is over grazed by cows and horses before i bought it. Now i have to build back…you guessed it…better! (Sorry….that’s the only actual use of the phrase that makes any sense this year)
No closure? I'm left hanging! Every 'before' deserves an 'after', so let's see what your result was. I'm hungry for a view of established clover in bloom!
