    Hi
Everything that i write is only my hypothesis so i could be wrong.
I think an art is the current reflection of a person emotions and the perspective how he sees the world.
And i believe the design of a car is the same.
And if we add AI to the equation we kinda take out those feelings from the result.
You mentioned in case of Vizcom you still need to sketch, it only speeds up the process but stick with me.
My assumption is why people negative about AI, and why i have hard feelings even thoug i try to be open minden is...
Any kind of robotisation helps with the process, speeds up the progress, it is more efficient etc. Simply the capabilities of a human cannot keep up with it in many ways. But, it takes away from the craftmanship.
Time is the essence. People tend to appriciate things more if it takes a lot of time and work, and it MIGHT be the case with AI as well.
Maybe if the whole car design procedure is performed by human hands only and detailed to the last piece of it, might takes 100x more time and energy but the results will be different.
This world is already filled with fake and deceptive things and some people can sense it if its "superficial".
    It becomes "soulles".
I'm not sure if im right, Im not a designer nor an artist yet.
But Im apllying to MOME the same university in hungary, where you had an amazing workshop in tha past few weeks:)
(And I passed to the last admission round so wish me luck :D)
Thank if you read and answer my comment, I hope it was helpful.

I understand that feeling and I definitely take note to think deeper on that so thanks for the comment. However my first reactions is, we should also stop using 3D modelling, Photoshop or even computers.. Just pen, paper and clay modelling. As romantic as it sounds, I'm not sure if I would be interested in that. Because how many people can design cars that way? How many differnet designs we can produce as whole industry? I love that I can visualise my design ideas without needing clay model or a company to sponsor. I think this has it's own excitement.. As I said it is a deeper topic to discuss further but I think if people are against AI because of that, they should be also against 3D modelling or photoshop as well..
Good luck with MOME, really nice team there!! :)

I agree that 3d modelling and photoshop are a great expansions for car design, and even though i dont have much experience in car design, i have 1 own design in part of my aplliance, a lot of ideas came up during the 3D modelling process that i have never thougt of in "2D" sketching. And if it wasn't for 3D printing i would not be able to hold my creation in my hands unlike a clay modell which is unattaianble for me and i think a lot of people feels the same.

    Hello brother❤,
really needed a guidance video for making portfolio like I am talking about from scratch, because I'm not from a design background but my aim is to pursue my higher studies in transportation design so for the admission purpose I required a whole portfolio which I have to submit for review so that's wwhy, and I have a lot of doubts about creating a Portfolio for example like it should be in one A3 sheet or it should be two or three pages with A4 and also like did I have to describe my vision in the portfolio or else it should be plain sketches and also what are the sketches I have to show to just impress them, what are the proportions which I have to show,
I know it was a silly questions but I am asking because I'm not from a design background so I don't know the basic things also so please brother teach me these things.
I am hoping this will get to your eyes, and please help me to build it
    Thank you❤

I assume everyone will use AI in some form. I think the important thing (and I don't know ultimately what this will mean) it will always be important to show your abilities and find ways to differentiate yourself. As a teacher as well as being in the industry, I assume that analog skills will be even more important to prove your abilities

totally agree, the core design skills are more and more important. many students mix up the idea of "flashy sketch" and "good design". Now anybody can do flashy sketch with AI and I think its amazing because they will realise the design/vision is way more important now..

Am not against it as much after I started to play around with it, but right now it feels more like a rendering engine and not a free thinking Ai assistant. Still think its thinking about stuff that was in the past and not so much in the future or maybe its down to the "Ai Design operator". However I do think there is a risk in who holds/has access to the generated data and who can build upon it.
