I must say, everyone looks incredibly elevated this year. Like in previous years, there's always the stand outs and the not so greats but this year wow wow wee wow most of the people on the red carpet are on fire!!!!! Emily, Nicole, Saoirse, Gal, Sandra, Lupita, Armie, Timothee, Jennifer (Garner), Salma, Adam, Jane, Allison (Janney), Tom. Great films and great oscar fashion.

Seer-she? It’s Seer-sha. Soz just as an Irish person I need to clear this up
Normally I would assume that's how anyone with that name pronounces it, but oddly enough Saoirse went with the other pronunciation 'sir-sha' :) I've yet to meet another person with her pronunciation though lol
And in the Graham Norton Show they called her Sur-She and she went along with that, so who the fuck knows anymore
It's pronounced sur-sha, Saoirse said so on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2016

As another Irish person and someone with a sister with this name it’s usually pronounced Seer-sha and it’s the Irish translation for the word freedom!! Saoirse Ronan pronounces it more like sur-sha because of her hard Dublin accent but also while Ireland is a small country there’s also a lot of different dialects and people just pronounce Irish words differently!
