my hornet backbox sounded the bollox and popped from time to time. but im selling my clio so had to take it off. i did have a problem before though so i rode around with a straight pipe
is it car specific one or the universal one? couse at the moment I got full straight pipe on mine and it's just too loud to drive for longer than 30min!
Just ring your insurance and ask them about all the mods you are wanting to do and see what they can do for you. don't just do it then tell them. And don't try hide it from them because it always fucks you eventually
The "black box" isn't some huge device they come fit to your car. Its just a little device you put in your OBD2 port that measures acceleration, speed and stuff. I have one with direct line in my car and its fine they don't know your doing anything.
however....any mods you don't tell your insurance about...if your in a crash and they see them I think they can refuse to insure you/void your insurance.
@@Xorue Dunno if you still have the Clio or are alive but take the Induction pipe from the stock air filter out so your just left with the 'airbox'. Sounds a littler meaner on the rear end stock and you get a nice little hiss from the engine
two days to change the exhaust to my clio I'm excited, i love that sound I hope to have the same result :D

I have a 1.6 dynamic 110bhp would it probably sound the same
Most aftermarket back boxes sound better on cars 1.6 and over in engine size
What size exhaust clamps did you use for these??
do you have a race tube or something or middle section removed? I have just a hornet backbox and mine is quiet, only shouts a little above 1900 rpm.

Just ordered this for my 1.4 was it An easy fit? Any welding or angle grinding?
+ZoinksHD you have to cut the original exhaust like i am in the video but no welding is needed, just clamps

it didnt come with any clamps, we just bought 2 u clamps from halfords for a few ££

probably due to video quality? i use an external microphone etc. Nothing is different about the car other than an induction kit.
I've installed it and it's sound really throaty. But it won't pop or crackle like that one. I'm lost
