I remember being 7 in 1999 when this album came out, and it was playing EVERYWHERE. The thing is, my parents, who were both born in the mid 60's, said "You know whats funny? When we were your age, this is the band we were listening to". This album was the comeback of the century.

This song and album changed everything for our band. We thank Carlos and the band for influencing us in a positive way plus carrying the flag for Rock Latin fusion all these years! We would not sound like we do with out Santana's incredible output to the world!
I miss the 90’s. I hope you’re staying strong & brave out there, my fellow 90’s kids. We have something the world can’t take away - one foot in the old world, one in the new. We understand both in a way previous and later generations will only guess at. I know it hasn’t been easy, nothing worth doing ever was. May your hearts be full of love and your lives full of success & happiness. I’m rooting for you. Even you. I wish you so much joy and fulfillment. Good luck ❤️
God Bless You. Yes I miss the 90s too. The decade that Tori Amos brought out Little Earthquakes and Boys for Pele, the decade in which Jeanette Winterson wrote Gut Symmetries, the decade in which Eddie Izzard launched his career, the decade that brought us Alanis Morisette. And of course the decade that brought us this song. Yes us 90s folk are a special bunch of people - and we always will be. We carry a very special flame for humanity.

Who is listening in April 2021 is a Real LEGEND
I REMEMBER Woodstock 1969..... But I'll NEVER be The Legend as Carlos.... Like the line in Dirty Harry "Man has to know his limitations"....
Me

Eletric gutiar+Vocals=Perfect Song
They dont make music like this no more my peoples 2024
This song will always stay CLASSIC till the world ends! Santana is a legend!
him on the guitar is music to my soul! I have been listening to his music since I was a kid and when he brought out this song I knew it was him before I saw the videos.
One of my favorites! I also love Smooth by him and Rob Thomas.
Maria Maria Santana ❤
How can people dislike this music for real tho...
Who is here in April 2024😂❤
❤
2024 and still an amazing song 🫡
Old school. Our children lack good music
Still 🔥
Meeee3
I remember being 7 in 1999 when this album came out, and it was playing EVERYWHERE. The thing is, my parents, who were both born in the mid 60's, said "You know whats funny? When we were your age, this is the band we were listening to". This album was the comeback of the century.
Very Cool!!
I also have children who have:also made comments to me like this.
If only they knew that he was entertaining with his amazing music probably when my Mother was young.
It doesn't matter!! He has filled us with much love and beautiful music to go with it.
May you have a blessed and beautiful day 😁
Goodtimes back in 1999! Miss those times.
My dad, and he’s a Christian, once told me ‘Santana’s guitar talent could only come from Heaven above….and given you like such harmonious playing of it, enjoy it while you can, cause when he dies, you’re screwed, cause nowadays there’s just a bunch of lazy fucks who won’t train their hands and voice to play and sing.’
He was right…nowadays everything is playback and auto tunes…
rich kid
@@donnadillard7016 I just remembered my older sister listening to this {she was born in 1998} and being a kid growing up with a older sister and mom who greatly influenced my music taste it was amazing
Just how much cooler can Carlos be?
crazy sexy and he's Sooo cool
poon likka he's THE coolest 👌🏽
Unknown Youknow
Total agreement
poon likka No one can make a guitar cry like Carlos!! No one! I know his sound in the first 2 licks! It's like Shut up and turn it full blown up!!! Then it's like my body starts making moves I never even thought existed!!! For real!!!!
Sandra...I wish I could make a woman feel like that....oh well...have to leave it to Carlos the master.
Yall cant deny that dude sung the hell out of this song 🔥 😂 his voice is pure gold on this
Sad more people knows about "Wild Thoughts" than this original.
So true, hopefully they'll make their way to this gem!
I fell in love with that elec guitar lead when i heard wild thoughts . Nd here is orignal .
Wild Thought who? Maria Maria spotted the #1 for 10 weeks, and Wild Thought being hidden by a random latino song LOL
Him Upadhyay it’s mostly the new generation the older heads know about this joint
Not exactly, this song is half a decade older than the youtube itself, and every radio, and even music tv's playing this since then sometimes.. it's a classic. "Wild thoughts" maybe have more views but definitely not so well known one
This song has been stuck to my brain for 25 years. For 25 more!
100 more*
Same here
Right???
And yet you still don't remember the lyric 😅
I wish there was more R&B music with a Spanish sound to it like this...
I agree... I want dancing last night and I love Latin dance
+Brittany Powell (Bee Couturer) "latin and spanish music is actually african" - Carlos Santana
+Paula Acosta youre probably caribean us south americans dont have african culture
Charles Barkley Really? Brazil is full of African cultures!!
Iris Saravia Mosby thats Brazil not in argentina.
Incase anyone is wondering. MARIA is a spirit. She is the spirit of a good time. Watch the video closely. She exists in everyone. She shows up and leaves. You will see.
Santana was my dad’s favorite! I lost my dad to covid a month ago and all this music just keeps reminding me of how cool he was and how he had an amazing taste in music . I grew up to the classics! Love you forever daddy cool
R.I.P to your father

Not literally. FACTS!
Timeless. That's all i have to say. Living proof music has no color. Music is probably the greatest unifier ever. We all love it no matter what color. We all should be the embodiment of music itself. ✌
Daaamn! Carlos was, is & will always be the man!!!!❤️👏🏼👊🏼✊🏼👌🏼✌🏼
He know how to play the guitar the right way
Facts!!
We still coming back to this masterpiece Nov 2024
This is music, pure talent, pure love and unity. No naked women, no devilish signs or flexing jewellery or nonsense.

So amazing. Almost no one in that crowd was alive when Santana had his first hits in 1970.
It's my song. Thank you so much, Carlos Santana.

Love this song .Carlos Santana is a great guitar player ,very talented.❤
This song and album changed everything for our band. We thank Carlos and the band for influencing us in a positive way plus carrying the flag for Rock Latin fusion all these years! We would not sound like we do with out Santana's incredible output to the world!
This song always takes me back to good music
👍
+Sayde B WHY DID THEY HAVE TO RUIN THIS CLASSIC BY TURNING IT INTO A THUG HIP HOP SONG???
+drServitis Where in this song was anything "thuggish" said? He's clearly saying stop the looting, stop the shooting...
+Renee Dhanraj Bandanas and rap ringers dancing thug style in this video does a serious dis-service to this classic Santana song.
+drServitis Carlos Santana obviously didn't have a problem with it, why do you?
I miss the 90’s. I hope you’re staying strong & brave out there, my fellow 90’s kids. We have something the world can’t take away - one foot in the old world, one in the new. We understand both in a way previous and later generations will only guess at. I know it hasn’t been easy, nothing worth doing ever was. May your hearts be full of love and your lives full of success & happiness. I’m rooting for you. Even you. I wish you so much joy and fulfillment. Good luck ❤️
90's will always be in our hearts 🤍
❤
God Bless You. Yes I miss the 90s too. The decade that Tori Amos brought out Little Earthquakes and Boys for Pele, the decade in which Jeanette Winterson wrote Gut Symmetries, the decade in which Eddie Izzard launched his career, the decade that brought us Alanis Morisette. And of course the decade that brought us this song. Yes us 90s folk are a special bunch of people - and we always will be. We carry a very special flame for humanity.
Sending you sooo much of God's Love & Light 💗🤗
Thank you needed to hear some kind words❤
