- CASTELO de BELVER. Localiza-se na margem direita do rio Tejo, concelho de Gavião no distrito de Portalegre. Nesta aldeia localiza-se o Castelo de Belver, edificado por D. Afonso Pais em 1194, que é um dos mais perfeitos castelos românicos de Portugal. BELVER CASTEL: It is located on the right margin of the Tejo River, in the Gavião county, Portalegre district. There is the Belver Castle, built by King Afonso Pais in 1194, which is one of the finest Romanesque castles of Portugal.
