Actually there is one soundtrack in Terran Command where you can hear a familiar parts from Klendathu drop. But game have it's own soundtrack. Still I'm pretty sure there's some modder prepared to release full movie soundtrack to the game. Modders communities are awesome last years and I feel it would be very popular universe for some time.. I'm so damn hyped for that game and I really appreciate they stay in satyre style of campaign and game looks Lore friendly which is absolutely great. Absurd propaganda is TOP part of whole Starship Troopers Universe.. That's why I love it so much.. it describes us.. how we act and how we think.. When you drop on Klendathu but you actually have the power armor (complete with onboard flamethrowers and nuclear grenade launchers) the mobile infantry had in the BOOK.

The makers have said themself that in reality SST is a satire about " militarism". More like the ideology that was in Japan before ww2. And a mix of " pop culture". Society in the book was made for hyperstability and the sence that use of brutal force is the essence of all government, but not all governments was stabil/organised. There is also the sence that humans at our core is not a organised and harmonic creature, but that we in our core are narcissistic and antisocial and that order is the main goal of government. In the films it`s more about how humans just " react" and that the leaders try to manipulate the masses with highly emotional propaganda, but in reality it often dont work and that it`s impossible to know what humans are going to do. We also get the sence that the more intelligent leaders are less into collectivism and that they always have a agenda of their own.

This film and book is actually making a point that a society of multiculture/race/gender/sexuality also can be millitaristic/autocratic. But it was never 100% facist. The government made sure that all people could join in and be a citisen, and that even if you where handycaped or blind, even stupid they would find som kind of work you so you could be a citisen. The whole point was that if people did not sacrifise for the government they where not truly accountable and could in a case of civil unrest turn to panic and then anarchy. Thank you and that means a lot. One of the things that drove this project was that a lot of people had tried to do this with cues like this one or with Terminator etc...I was...dissatisfied...with pretty much all of them. It was a monster itch that I finally got to scratch.
I won’t disagree. The intention was never anything but the absolute most insane thing possible. Considering what else was out there at the time I felt like it was a fairly vacant spot. We got lucky with even the views we have on this one, I think largely due to Briget’s engagement with people and the algorithm etc. It’s just a shame because there’s never any less work or soul put into one piece versus another. Yeah, I mean it’s kind of weird for me because I have listened to them since I made them and I still do on occasion. And normally I would make a joke that it’s like enjoying the smell of your own farts, but I didn’t compose the music and the music is fucking legendary, and I would love to hear it no matter how it was done. Well to be honest we don’t really promote that much. It’s partly that it’s just a total labor of love for me but I’m pretty sure both of us are too busy to do it properly like we should. Honestly I’ve never been that big on or that good at self promotion. I’d just rather be left alone in my room to make things like this. We honestly have no idea how this one video has gotten the views it has versus the other stuff on the channel. It’s some weird algorithmic voodoo.
This is my most favorite version of the remixes/ covers, all the other ones are too over the top. This one enhances and follows perfectly with the amazing epic spots of the great original, and I said enhances, it doesn't pretend to be better cause you can't improve on perfection.
That’s always been the idea. The music is sacred and can’t be messed with. It is all about putting maybe a different spin on it or framing it differently but I don’t really think anyone wants to hear double time “metal versions”, when you have musical content that is this epic and expansive, you have to heed what’s there. It’s a really serious thing for one of these to be done. I kinda constantly work under the fear/curiosity of if it’ll be good enough for the composer to listen to. In the case of this one since he is no longer here it was even more pressure in a way.

Such as the work of the Japanese video game industry (Konami, Capcom, Sega) by the S.S.T. Band, Alpha-Lyla, and the Konami Kukeiha Club. Which is still strongly continued by Touhou and Doujin Metal, but in the Western media (movie series, games, etc.) this is not yet so common, so this is a great project, in the right direction, I think. First of all thank you. Secondly I have no idea how, algorithmically, this keeps coming up and getting views. There are only two pieces of music on the channel here and somehow this one is literally actively climbing etc and the T2 one is just sitting. Because I think it’s blocked in a lot of territories because of the footage. But either way. People are missing out only hearing this one.

Honestly I’ve never been that big on or that good at self promotion. I’d just rather be left alone in my room to make things like this. We honestly have no idea how this one video has gotten the views it has versus the other stuff on the channel.

This is my most favorite version of the remixes/ covers, all the other ones are too over the top. This one enhances and follows perfectly with the amazing epic spots of the great original, and I said enhances, it doesn't pretend to be better cause you can't improve on perfection.
That’s always been the idea. The music is sacred and can’t be messed with. It is all about putting maybe a different spin on it or framing it differently but I don’t really think anyone wants to hear double time “metal versions”, when you have musical content that is this epic and expansive, you have to heed what’s there. It’s a really serious thing for one of these to be done. I kinda constantly work under the fear/curiosity of if it’ll be good enough for the composer to listen to. In the case of this one since he is no longer here it was even more pressure in a way.

It definitely picked up all the perfect cues of the original and made it so spiritually good. I tried watching your version of the T2 theme but since I am offshore at the moment it has been blocked cause it shows images of the film apparently. Is it possible for you to re-release it like this one, with no images so it can be heard?
Also I would love to hear more work like this from epic scores you can enhance, they are pure sugary gold and I believe you could work mainline with the passion, talent and respect you have.

I sincerely appreciate your words. It means a lot considering how much of my soul goes into making these. The project was originally Tim’s idea and he enabled me to dive into this fully and I owe him forever.

@@enhancedreplications4243 I also think it is a very good choice. There are a lot of good rock/remixes of many great themes. Such as the work of the Japanese video game industry (Konami, Capcom, Sega) by the S.S.T. Band, Alpha-Lyla, and the Konami Kukeiha Club. Which is still strongly continued by Touhou and Doujin Metal, but in the Western media (movie series, games, etc.) this is not yet so common, so this is a great project, in the right direction, I think. Great that you recognized my avatar, you are the first one who ever noticed that. I met Hizaki 2-3 times at concerts where he signed his plectrum for me, a really nice guy and a fantastic guitar he plays, so I thought it would be a nice choice for my avatar.

Further to my previous post :-) : one of my favourite youTuber's comments was on this opus - they said if they ever became dictator of a country they would make this their National Anthem. It tickled me then and still does ! ....just imagine it....

it would be a disgrace and an insult to this song. It is still a democracy, it is at most a military junta, nowhere near dictatorship. If people think of the Federation there as Fashist then their wrong and didnt understand at all, or have ANY CLUE about politics. Just a little something, rest you need to look up yourself : A dictator rules alone AND absolute. Even in the first movie we see that the "Sky Marshall" wich isnt the president btw. just so you know, does not RULE ABSOLUTE he still has his council with him that do influence the decision making, soooo no rule by himself anywhere. The only difference to other democracy's is that you need to be a citisen, wich i can totaly understand and think it would be the best way to progress our democracy's worldwide (as ALL the different ones fail atm. not only the US that let basicaly a Nazi rule their country for 4 years trying to further drive US people into uneducated status, NO! We in germany fail too atm. .... this now election was and still is pain fear and terror in one, whatever we get now, it will basicaly destroy many peoples normal day's and normal living). If serving the military 2 years, wich means getting yourself down to being a coackroach and climbing back up and EARN that respect from your supperiors, makes you a better and more inteligent human, then so be it. NO ONE tried this , so dont claim it wont work or make it worse! Komunism, Sozialism, Democracy .... they all failed at one point already, time for something new that COULD WORK. We cant make Roddenbery's vision come true yet, so lets take babysteps. Remember : If at all : The federation is not racist toward fellow humans! They BEAT that stuff, althou a common enemy in space was needed for this to happen. Oh and yes : Violence solved more problems than diplomacy ever did. That statement is true. UN or NATO (As the 2 big peace powers out there) did fail on NUMEROUS occasions (Dont make me start on the fails of soviet russia, russia and china pls... NATO still is the stronger and better alliance)
