I think booker t's 2001 run is really underrated. first yr in the wwe and he was pretty much thrown into main event status. came out with Shane McMahon every week and went up against the rock and stone cold.
@Shorty I mean the Rock and the undertaker practically lost to Austin everytime to but the feuds were still held in high regard. Same with Michaels and Triple He's rivalry.
Jerry the next week after seeing the replay "Did he just say price check on a jackass? What kind of insane lunatic is Austin!" Heel Jerry was one of the most hillarious guys ever!
One of my favorite parts of that Supermarket fight is when Booker T throws Stone Cold Steve Austin into the freezer and then Austin comes out the other side with a gallon of milk. I look at that as a toast to Kurt Angle (remember the milk truck) also at the end when Austin and Booker at checkout and Austin says As he hears the cops coming he goes: “Price check on jackass!””” Hahahahaha!!!
That moment is truly gold.. can’t believe it’s been that long.. I will never forget it. I’m gonna go watch it and smile at two of the best giving us that moment right now
There will never be anything WWE from past, present and future that will ever top that scene. With booker t and stone cold fighting everywhere was classic
I love how humble booker t is ... like he really doesn’t know he is a major part of wrestling history ... Your arguably the top 3 to ever do it . 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
This happened In my hometown of Bakersfield ca, i was there live in the arena and it happened at this old store called the green frog market which is no longer there. Good times! I also remember ric flair and vince McMahon sitting in the suite above where we were sitting.this clip brought back so many memories.
I remember this match and I've watched it numerous times since, you guys are both in my top 10 favorite list. I still have no idea how either one of you could have kept a straight face it makes me laugh to this day. Continue on Booker T continue on Stone Cold
Shout out BAKERSFIELD CA...I remember seeing this on the screen at rabobank thinking dam I lived 4 blocks away I could've watched the real action at greenfrog hahah the good ol days 🙌🙌💯🤙
I remember watching that on Smackdown and thought that segment was so entertaining. I usually love when pro wrestling Superstars take action in backstage brawls, but taking it to the supermarket made it that much more fun and entertaining. I had it recorded on VHS tape, lol. Those were awesome times for wrestling. THANK YOU, BOOKER!
I have a buddy who says he knows everything about wrestling but he never heard about the Booker T Stone Cold Grocery store fight. That's where I called BS on his butt. Two of the greatest bits on wrestling TV involved milk. Booker T and Stoned Cold in the grocery store and Cowboy Kurt and the Milk Truck.
The grocery store fight was the first time I ever watched pro wrestling. I was 3, and ever since I’ve been a fan, so thank you Booker T, and Stone Cold for a great moment in my childhood.
I'm from Bakersfield, California I remember that segment ND I'll never forget it 💯 I lived down the street from that green frog market which is now a dollar general
I stopped watching wrestling a long time ago but that grocery store fight is easily one of my favorite moments. Mankind vs Undertaker HTC has held the number one spot since it happened.
You won't ever see a caucasian bald guy beat up a black guy in a grocery store as a part of a storyline at TV ever again! Still one of the best damn things to ever happen!
No Booker T didnt star using the Book end until he split from his brother in Harlem Heat and after The Rock was Super over with fans. He was using the axe kick and the Harlem Hangover as his finishers before that.
Lmao!!! I remember it like yesterday!!! Booker T was one of my favorites, still is and really wanted to meet the Legend in person during his last WI visit not to long ago but hopefully next time Book!!! But you're absolutely right those were the best days of watching and I'm sure for you guys too!!!
That store is now, I forget what they're called but it's a place where they take care of kids and help people find jobs. The store was called the green frog.
Back when Wwe was actually entertaining. It seems like you'll only find entertaining segments and storytelling is when they're fantasy booked in a UA-cam comment section by random fans but the WWE execs, creative team, or Vince are just too prideful to implement them. I guess because they are just fans that they aren't to be taken seriously. Everyone starts out as a fan, including Vince, so that can't be held against them.
*That grocery store segment is easily top 3 segments in WWE history.* 🛒
💯
Facts lol
Legendary segment status I will never forget it.
It took place in my hometown
Bakersfield, California at the Green Frog Supermarket
TraumaER in WWF history *
Top 20 yeah but top three not at all there are waaaaaaaaay too many segments involving the Rock or Chris Jericho that would take the top three.
One of my favorite wrestling moments ever. Such a funny segment.
My to
"Price check on a Jackass!"
Do you have any grey poupon? 🤣🤣
When Austin started singing the pizza song I lost it 😂😭😭
One of top ten Smackdown moments
I think booker t's 2001 run is really underrated. first yr in the wwe and he was pretty much thrown into main event status. came out with Shane McMahon every week and went up against the rock and stone cold.
Book carried the Alliance on his back him and RVD
@Shorty I mean the Rock and the undertaker practically lost to Austin everytime to but the feuds were still held in high regard. Same with Michaels and Triple He's rivalry.
Stone Cold did his best to make Booker T look great.
Booker was champ at wcw thats why he got instant looks when he came too wwf
He was one of the best performers in wrestling wwe knew he was big time
one of the few top guys that can pull off comedy and serious feuds
Great point. That puts him in Piper/Flair/Rude type company
King booka
He stuffed the accent up so much it was good
And to top it off with that spinaroonie
Feuds is never serious
I'm still mad that Booker didn't fight Austin at Mania after that great build.. Vince wanted to go with the NWO angle and it totally flopped
Jovan SS typical Vince
yeah, Booker deserved better at Mania than a burial against Edge ....
@Mad Man 1 yeah He got shot on champion title run but got buried by HHH at that time during the reign of terror and he haven't get that shot since
nwo coulda been huge done right but so many things kept happening that prevented it
Another great fuck up of his.
The grocery scene and church scene is a classic alongside the Vince and Steve hospital scene and the rock and Steve bridge scenes. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂You just named pretty much my top moments. And I can't forget the empty arena match with The Rock and Mankind.
@@yaboy20071 That empty arena match was also great one of my favorites as well.
Classic. Booker's paranoia and Austin's savagery went well together
Stone Cold: “When the 🌙 hits your eye like a big 🍕 pie, that’s amore”
God I miss the Rattlesnake
Funny👏Every👏Time👏
“Price check on Jackass!”
Chance Kuzma 🤣🤣
Jerry the next week after seeing the replay
"Did he just say price check on a jackass? What kind of insane lunatic is Austin!"
Heel Jerry was one of the most hillarious guys ever!
Lol im weak
😂😂😂😂
Booker T was one my favorites along side Rey, Eddie, Stone Cold, etc.
his reaction when vince said the n word 😂
One of our favorite moments ever! Thank you, Book and Stone Cold!!
Well said.
Booker to stone cold, "getcha ass get in there"
Roberto Tagle
That line "Price check on jackass" was priceless..
"Get him some milk!"
Hahahaha😂😂😂😂
Classic wrestling moment. Big ups to those who watched it live on tv.
The Real Frisco lol most of the critics warrant even born yet 😂😂
@@t.styles2k202 I know right! Lol
I rewatched that on my VCR so much! Lolol
@@andrewbristow2817 Haha! 👍
Big ups to everyone tht had a TV? O how prestigious
That segment was PRIME with two of my favorites Booker T and Stone Cold
Thank you Book! Ive laughed for 20 years cause you and Steve put on a great show. Bravo! True entertainers!
I live in Bakersfield they closed that green frog store down booker thanks for showing love to the town
Probably due to that brawl.
@@marka.graffakasnakebitenat3736 no it wasn’t bc of the brawl.
I am surprised that the 24/7 title has never been defended in a supermarket.
because its a poorman's wwf/e hardcore title
COVID is stopping that atm
@@CharlieAUS the 24/7 title started before COVID
@@kenterminateddq5311 I said atm which means at the moment.
@@CharlieAUS WWE should have booked a 24/7 segment in the supermarket with Truth.
That moment is truly gold.. can’t believe it’s been that long.. I will never forget it. I’m gonna go watch it and smile at two of the best giving us that moment right now
Even tho Booker T always played as tha villain, U Couldn’t Help But to Like Him and His Style 😆💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I loved Booker t and he sold that grogery store shoot perfect with stone cold 🤣
Its honestly one of the best outside of the ring moments ever.
I was just watching that segment a few days ago. Felt like it was yesterday I was watching it live
Jerry Lawler commentary was priceless!!!
There will never be anything WWE from past, present and future that will ever top that scene. With booker t and stone cold fighting everywhere was classic
I love how humble booker t is ... like he really doesn’t know he is a major part of wrestling history ... Your arguably the top 3 to ever do it . 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Definitely one of the top best segments ever.
The grocery store segment was hilarious, and I'll never forget that line Stone Cold Steve Austin said at the end "price check on jackass."
I laughed my ass off at that storyline they looked like they were having fun I'm surprised they never broke character
😂😂😂
If I were booker T at that grocery store I would keep myself from laughing my ass off because that was one of the most hilarious segments.
If you rewash the grocery store saying when he put Booker t on the shopping Booker T was laughing
This happened In my hometown of Bakersfield ca, i was there live in the arena and it happened at this old store called the green frog market which is no longer there. Good times! That fact that I was so young when seeing this on TV adds to the legend. It's like a hazy dream, two dudes fighting in the produce section. 😂
😂
when i do drive past the old market i tell my pasangers of the battle of 98 that took place inside. its gone now but legend never die.
Shout out BAKERSFIELD CA...I remember seeing this on the screen at rabobank thinking dam I lived 4 blocks away I could've watched the real action at greenfrog hahah the good ol days 🙌🙌💯🤙
He sounds like Cedric The Entertainer!
That segment along with the Stone Cold/McMahon hospital vignette are two of the greatest memories in WWE history.
Grocery segment.... Church Bingo segment... The best outside the ring segments I ever saw. The comedic timing and improv of the greats is phenomenal
Watching the interview when he calls Hulk Hogan the N-Word is one of the funniest things of all time.
Epic
The grocery store fight was the equivalent of the chicken fight with Peter Griffin
I’m never going to be able to see this fight the same way again 😂
The Battle of Ol Stone Cold vs King Booka @ the grocery store was one of the greatest battles ever fought on television.
I have a buddy who says he knows everything about wrestling but he never heard about the Booker T Stone Cold Grocery store fight. That's where I called BS on his butt. Two of the greatest bits on wrestling TV involved milk. Booker T and Stoned Cold in the grocery store and Cowboy Kurt and the Milk Truck.
pezjme he could not have been a fan and hadn’t seen it
Thank you booker t for giving your all to others we trully appreciate it!
The grocery store fight was the first time I ever watched pro wrestling. I was 3, and ever since I’ve been a fan, so thank you Booker T, and Stone Cold for a great moment in my childhood.
The 8 dislikes are from local store owners 😂🤣
It was a instant classic that can’t be redone
I keep watching the 7-11 skit and the lumberjack one!! The lumberjack look is the funniest!!
I love the grocery store segment but I really love the Goldust and Booker T segments that stuff was funny
"Aaand cut! Put it on vinces tab 🤫😉

I remember this epic match in the grocery! 🤣
This was in my hometown, unfortunately the store has closed since.
Two dislikes?!? Must be the two jabronies who had to clean up afterwards. That's one of the greatest segments in WWE history
Booker is so well spoken and a funny guy. That grocery store fight was hilarious
I’m going to watch that segment now.
I'm from Bakersfield, California I remember that segment ND I'll never forget it 💯 I lived down the street from that green frog market which is now a dollar general
“Price check on jackass!” - SCSA

I still remember booker T. HE WAS AMAZING. I remember him along with the names of stone cold and Eddie... he was an icon!! We love ya book!!
ima getchu oh ima getchu classic booker t
Booker T should've gotten a bigger push. He's in my Top 5.
Thanks bro!
Booker T and Stone cold- Legends!! that was the best segment ever- thanks to vince for approval and the grocery store ....
We need more grocery store matches!
We need a rematch!
That was best segment in wwe history, they should do more segments like that one.
Steve just did Hot Ones, maybe you should do it and promote your show and channel
I stopped watching wrestling a long time ago but that grocery store fight is easily one of my favorite moments. Mankind vs Undertaker HTC has held the number one spot since it happened.
One of the most underrated fued stonecold had. The segment of the grocery store with Booker t and them going to church was so funny
that was my first WWE show I was a teenager at the time. The green frog market in Bakersfield is closed now but your always welcome here Booker T.
Bakersfield , CA on the map. Greatest segment ever
Grocery store segment was gold
Let's not forget King Booker and Eddie Guerrero's antics as Pulp Fiction characters
Loved it all
You won't ever see a caucasian bald guy beat up a black guy in a grocery store as a part of a storyline at TV ever again! Still one of the best damn things to ever happen!
Easily one of the GOAT wrestling moments.
Booker T: one of the greatest in the business.
Well Said Booker,such a classic!!🙌🐐🐐
I saw it live, it was such an awesome match.
Loved that segment.
I wanna know if the book end was meant to imitate the rock or did they just happen to have the exact same move?
I believe the book end was first
Joystick Shinobi based on my research he started using the move in WCW a little after the rock so idk...
No Booker T didnt star using the Book end until he split from his brother in Harlem Heat and after The Rock was Super over with fans. He was using the axe kick and the Harlem Hangover as his finishers before that.
Bakersfield ca my hometown!💯
To this day it's still funny to watch this grocery fight, Brooker and Stone Cold did a very good job performing this stunt.
They're probably having so much fun during that episode. I mean who doesn't want to just go in a store and just trash everything inside? Lol!
Classic moments i miss those segments
One of the best segments hands down 👍🏾👍🏾
R-TRUTH is the closest thing to Booker as far as the funny story lines.

The store was called the green frog.
That Grocery store segment was hilarious yet a classic

That grocery store fight was probably the best moment in WWE history. I can't think of a better one.
